THIS IS BIG=> DONALD TRUMP Continues Lead in Florida Early Voting
The Gateway Pundit ^ | Oct 24th, 2016 | Jim Hoft

Florida is a must-win state for Donald Trump to declare victory on election day and the good news is that he’s off to a very good start.

In fact, his lead in early voting there is a first for Republicans. Back in September Trump led Hillary Clinton in early voting.

Trump still leads Hillary Clinton in Florida early voting.

In 2012 the early voting breakdown was this: 43% Democrats 40% Republicans 17% Other-Independent

This year the early voting breakdown is: 40% Democrat 42% Republican 18% Other-Independent

Trump still leads in Florida two weeks before election day. This is big news! Don’t expect the corrupt media to report on this.

“WHY DO THE MEDIA KEEP SAYING HILLIARY IS uP BY 12 POINTS???”

We know they’re in the bag for her. They are an arm of her campaign. They over sample demos like Dems and blacks, and 4 year degree holders til they get the number they need.

The evening of Nov 8th the outcome will be known early.

Trump needs SC, FLA and OH.

If he misses any of the 3, he loses.

I think it is their responsibility to look at all possible understandings of an order from a commander and to be supportive of their commander whether they like the style or not.

>>I wasn’t aware they counted absentee votes unless they could make a difference. I think this is just ballots requested. In my state they don’t even identify general election absentee ballots by Republican or Democrat and they don’t COUNT and publicize them before the election.<<

About counting absentee ballots at all: I think that was only the case before early voting became so prevalent and even then I suspect most states counted them eventually to get a firm final total for each candidate.

However, I think many states now count them before the polls close on election day. Maybe you’ve noticed that on the closing of the polls, some precincts report large vote counts immediately. I think those are the early votes, already counted.

It would bother me to find out that clerks were opening the ballots and tallying them before election day, however, since that process would be wide open to fraudulent behavior, including tipping off people as to how the count was going, up to and including “losing” certain ballots and “discovering” others.

SC, FLA, and OH

South Carolina? Is that a typo?

Seems to be assuming Republicans are voting for Trump. You never know with the #nevertrumpers.

“True, but it can also make Hillary’s own followers complacent. And most of Hillary’s supporters are VERY EASY to make complacent.”

I’ve heard this argument rendered to show that the polls are accurate...Why would they show her up so much, etc...but they walk the fine line. They must think they’ll depress Trump voters more than they make Hitlery’s voters complacent. They also know they can tweak the numbers down a bit just before the election, to charge up complacent Dims. Imagine a roomful of dedicated socialist intern kids tweakin’ numbers on a spreadsheet til they get the result they want. Yeah, they are teeakin’ knob and dials hoping they’ve got the right “cheat” settings in place, and they think nothing of it (Machiavellian - no conscience). Pray to God that the people stay true to their convictions in opposing the Clinton crime family (and all the other criminals associated with them.)

"And you think Obama ran against Romney in the primary?"

No, your response was to a question on how Romney got nominated. Your response was :"I think many of us voted for Romney. The other choice was Obama."

Your response indicates either you are clueless on how primaries work OR your answer was non sequitur.

Absentee ballots returned, and in person voting starts today in FL. You can still be cheered by a lead in R votes returned. http://www.lifezette.com/polizette/early-voting-returns-point-to-gop-enthusiasm-advantage/

You must think Romney ran against Obama in the primary to conclude that I think Romney ran against Obama in the primary.

Your illogic is showing. You’d better tuck it in.

So the defense is that Hoft and another even sketchier source also deceptively claimed early voting results?

If it makes you feel better, I object to both BS sources.

I understand all the rationalizations about it and reporting thereof. Still, there is no case where I’m aware of a state actually does that - especially Florida where the infamous example of that state’s results being trumpeted as a ‘win’ for Gore (IIRC) by media calling that state’s by media win even before the polls closed in Northwestern Florida.

By its very release of results of early vote totes, it is something illegal and wholly criminal IMO. It isinherently wrong, devious and an attempt to push-pushing voting that is still yet to occur.

I just don’t believe this is actual official counted votes. To me, this is the height of a legitimate case for litigation.

First, you know that those links both show that the expression “early voting” is used in the vernacular for all early voting. Not that you would admit it.

Second, you didn’t object earlier, but now you object.

Third, I hope you are as hard on yourself when you don’t used precise terminology to describe everything in your life. Live by the standard, die by the standard.

I’m trying to stay calm!

Well, it's hard to take seriously anything with such a headline, considering no votes are actually counted before Election Day.

They look at the party registrations of who's voting early and requesting absentee ballots. Then, they assssssssssume Rs vote for Trump and Ds vote for the Hildebeast. Is that valid? I dunno. Maybe the R party in Florida is simply better than the Ds at getting the early vote out. If it's anything like around here, they're hitting all the retirement communities early and often...

And then I heard Fox News this morning in the top-of-the-hour newscast mention a poll indicating Trump leads Texas by only 3%.

Texas should not be close.

Just to note for those who don’t know: Florida still has a large number of registered Democrats who habitually vote Republican.

I haven’t researched, but I’d guess there are other southern states with a similar pattern.

There’s early in person voting and early absentee voting. Often, absentee ballots are sent/cast early also. But I agree it could be confusing. I don’t think we need to cast aspersions on Gateway Pundit though, for trying to be encouraging when we’re really simply talking about a semantical difference.
