NBC’s Chuck Todd tried to continue peddling the agenda of the “Big Three” networks and cover up the media’s deep connections to the Hillary Clinton campaign, on Sunday’s Meet the Press. Donald Trump’s Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway join Todd to discuss Trump’s Saturday “reset” speech, but all Todd seemed to want to do was harp on how Trump wanted sue his accusers. Conway noted to Todd that he was only focusing on a small part and reminded him Trump went after the corrupt system as well, “And it did, unfortunately, include some in the media, not most not all, but it does include some.”
“We’ve seen all these revelations Chuck, 96 percent of the donations, politically, went to Hillary Clinton by working journalists. 96 percent, there's no arguing--” she began to explain before Todd cut her off and tried to discredit the facts:
There was no political journalists in there. It is a-- I get where you're going with that, but that includes people that cover sports or entertainment. I mean, I'm just saying. Let's give it some nuance here.
Conway struck back hard against Todd’s denial, quipping, “Okay, let's give it nuance:”
You have a print reporter from a major outlet saying, “Hey, I'm now just a hack, John Podesta. So here Hillary campaign chairman, do you like what I'm saying in the article? Here's some editorial latitude for you if you want to change anything,”
Chuck Todd Disputes that 96 Percent of Media Donations Went to Clinton
That seemed to be all the opposition Todd could muster on the topic of the media’s favoritism to the Clintons and Democrats. Todd himself is on shaky ground when denying such bias, since WikiLeaks recently exposed how he allegedly hosted a private upscale party in 2015 for Clinton campaign staffer Jennifer Palieri and her husband. Todd, among many other journalist, even attended President Barack Obama’s final state dinner at the White House.
WikiLeaks also released an e-mail that documented how the Clinton campaign had a list of journalists who they viewed as favorable to them. Many of Todd’s colleagues at NBC and MSNBC made Clinton’s list of reliable journalists. And just because some of the reporters on the donation list don’t cover politics doesn’t lessen the fact that it proves liberal bias permeates the industry. Journalists who cover politics can contribute in other ways, such as omitting the fact that liberals were caught on camera admitting to starting fights and riots at Trump rallies.

CHUCK TODD: You know, so yesterday then it made a lot of sense that you guys had a reset speech. Donald Trump going to Gettysburg to try and-- he quoted Lincoln at the top. Talking about healing divisions but before he got to the first 100 day agenda items-- it was as substantive as a speech as he's given in a couple of months, he started out talking about threatening to sue all of the accusers who have come out alleging sexual misconduct. Is that a way to reset the last 16 days of this campaign?
KELLYANNE CONWAY: It's a way to defend himself and remind everybody what he has said many times which is none of this is true. They're fabrications, they’re all lies. He dispensed with that in a sentence or two. But he did talked about the rigged, corrupt system. And it did, unfortunately, include some in the media, not most not all, but it does include some. We’ve seen all these revelations Chuck, 96 percent of the donations, politically, went to Hillary Clinton by working journalists. 96 percent, there's no arguing –
TODD [Interrupting Conway]: There were no actual—There was no political journalists in there. It is a-- I get where you're going with that, but that includes people that cover sports or entertainment. I mean, I'm just saying. Let's give it some nuance here.
CONWAY: Okay, let's give it nuance. Get it down from a couple of points from 96 percent. There is no nuance. There is no nuance in some of these revelations, Chuck. You have a print reporter from a major outlet saying, “Hey, I'm now just a hack, John Podesta. So here Hillary campaign chairman, do you like what I'm saying in the article? Here's some editorial latitude for you if you want to change anything.”
I mean, this just should not be. So when he talks about the rigged, corrupt system, remember, he's standing up for the forgotten man and the forgotten woman. This is not about him. This is about the people. This is about folks who are white knuckled at the end of each month trying to paying the bills. This is about people who feel like their pressing their nose against the glass of the rigged system and can't get in. They're just watching everybody else benefit. He’s speaking for them. He has legitimacy here, Chuck, is because he was once an insider. He said that yesterday--
TODD [Interrupting Conway]: I understand that. But he didn’t speak about that. He instead focused on himself. He instead talked about the allegations and he instead brought it up. I mean, this is campaign –
CONWAY: That was a small piece of a 42-minute speech. A small piece.

Yes F Chuck Todd. I’d bet it’s closer to 99%.
Todd—Will you please hook up to this lie detector machine? I have a simple yes or no question for you.
Are you “with her”?
He knows it’s 100%
"People that cover sports" might bring the percentage down.
I can’t stand Chuck Todd.
From Wikipedia
Todd resides in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife, Kristian Denny Todd, and their two children. She is a communications professional and co-founder of Maverick Strategies and Mail, which provides direct mail and consulting services for Democratic candidates and progressive causes.[17][18] She was the spokesperson for the successful U.S. Senate campaign of Senator Jim Webb in 2006.[19]
Maybe it’s just me, but this exchange reminds me of many this election cycle, in which the media interviewer initiates an argument with someone from Trump’s campaign.
Instead of conducting the interview, and having back and forth discussion, these media people, including Chuck Todd here, take sides, and start arguing with the people from Trump’s campaign. They go into attack mode/partisan mode.
They steer the discussion into areas in which it’s like a liberal is saying the Trump people are wrong.
Which whether he knows it or not, Chuck Todd and others, by such exchanges, simply make the point, that they are liberal, that they are biased in their views, and their views are affecting their news coverage.
And as some Wikileaks stories suggest, direct involvement by the Clinton campaign in media coverage has occurred.
Chuckles is 96% sell out clintoon puppet. The other 4% is mostly fat and gristle.
LOL, from the people who ask; “Hillary, is all right to publish this? Can we word it so its more favorable to you?”
Chuck Todd also disputes the sun rises in the east.
So Hippie;
Did you contribute to Trump? I didn't think so. I say you're a Killary butt-kiss.
Probably higher than that.
Eric Trump corrected it and said 94%. /s
Are they tracking down the one joker in the pack?
Chuck Todd and the rest of the MSM always reject reality and truth when it comes how much they are in the tank for Dems and Hillary. They are either the most unethical, liars or mentally ill — or both.
Coincidence, I’m sure, but Stephanopolis was asking these same questions in his interview with Eric Trump. Go figure.
