Trump promises to sue accusers after election
The Washington Examiner ^ | October 22, 2016 | Robert King

Donald Trump promised to sue every single woman who accused him of sexual misconduct after the election is over, and blamed the media for using the allegations to attack his campaign.

"Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign, total fabrication. The events never happened, never," he said during a rally in Gettysburg, Pa., on Saturday.

I have this fun fantasy .... that Trump successfully sues all these MSM outlets and ends up owning them... then every New Years Eve, the masses watch the ball drop from Trump Tower on Trump Square in NYC.

You need a legitimate case, or you are wasting your time, money and credibility.

He said after the election. If he loses, then I would sue. It costs the other party time, money, and credibility as well.

Trump just sent a shot across the bow for future accusers. If they continue to come forward, then they may face a law suit as well.

“Don’t file that lawsuit quite yet, @realDonaldTrump, more video coming that HRC was personally involved in directing what happens at rallies”

Great speech. This was not about suing the accusers or even about Donald himself. Exactly the opposite. He basically said “I can’t refute every individual allegation in this coordinated attack over the next two weeks, but I will eventually refute them.”

Trump gave concrete examples of the smears that have been levied against him such as ‘violence’ at his campaign rallies which has now been proven to be the work of political operatives paid by Clinton/Obama. He then said that this wasn’t about himself, but about returning government to the American people. He went on to lay out a very specific agenda, more specific than anything Hillary or any oRepublican leaders have put forward.

It was the best speech I have ever heard Trump give. For the first time, I would call it Reagan-esque.

"He’s not going to “sue his accusers” because he’s a public figure UNLESS he can show that deliberate lies were published with MALICE, then he has a case."

A very tall order; proving that something didn't happen is virtually impossible, unless they have a tape of one of the women saying something like, "I'm going to make up a story about Trump sexually assaulting me because I support Hillary Clinton."

"CNN, ABC, and NY Post have this as the top story from the Gettysburg speech."

Virtually ignoring his policy statements.

He can use the Univision money to fund his legal pursuits.

Look, if you have $1000 in your billfold and you saw a $20 bill on the ground you would bend down to pick it up.

I was hoping that Trump would have more important things to do after the election.

And after Trump’s expenses, I’d bet he’d donate the money to vets.

... which the MSM will spin as 'Trump is using his wealth and power to intimate other women into remaining silent'. They also get the chance to harp on the allegations again instead of the policy issues for another news cycle. They'll ignore the holes in their stories (some of which have been outright debunked) and just blather on about it to try to suppress his appeal to women voters.

He doesn’t have to lose he election, just prove reckless or intentional lying and he may get special damages because the defamation was libel (published beyond oral) not just slander (oral).

My point was, Trump does need to prove malice but I think that won’t be too hard for him.

Yes if deliberate attempt which he shouldn’t have a hard time proving because malice requires recklessness or intent.

‘Motivated by politics” isn’t necessarily malice. Malice requires reckless or intent. “Motivated by politics” may help support the malice element but is not of itself sufficient to prove recklessness or intent.

I’d like to see him go after the news media who use their “freedom of the press” to willingly propagate demonstrable falsehoods intended to MIS-inform the public.

Let them spin all they want. Let's see how many more come forward in the next two weeks.

If you want to see something that is ridiculous, check out this one:

Salma Hayek claims Trump harassed her for a date then planted a nasty magazine story when she rejected him, as ELEVENTH woman comes forward to accuse The Donald of sexual misconduct

I am sure this is made up to counter the current NE story on the Clintons.
