Amen. It would be a boon to the nation if a resounding Trump victory would discredit polling and would wreck the excessive profits made by television networks by showing that a candidate does not have to spend a billion dollars on ads if he has something meaningful to say.
Caddell is an old-time Dem - socially liberal, but a patriot. Oh, and he believes in honesty and decency...a rare creature, these days, to be sure.
I think that he secretly wants Trump, that he cannot stand Hillary, but he feels that he can’t say that in public (maybe it’d embarrass his former boss (Carter) who is still (regrettably) alive. I do know that he’s made some pretty pro-Trump noises over the last year.
I think that there will be a Brexit-type shock, that this election will turn out a lot like 1980. Reagan was allegedly behind by about 7 points in late October, and ended up crushing Carter. There wasn’t a big move, it was already baked into the cake but the media was trying to tamp down the Reagan electorate (sound familiar?). I’m feeling better about Trump winning it now, and the polls should begin to reflect a tighter race or a Trump lead soon, as some pollsters understand that there is a next time, and they want to preserve their credibility.
hillary CANNOT win this election!! I would not accept it.. the race is so corrupted by the media, it would not be legit...
And hillary has the FBI, the state dept and the justice dept.. and congress all compromised in her favor... with her in the President’s seat, the corruption would be more than good folks could stand... and she’s soon get us all arrested and sent away... your freedoms would be wiped out the first month and the devil himself would be running this blessed country... maybe God believes we have turned it over to the worst of them... and we deserve this... I hope not... please!

Pat Caddell is an “old line democrat” in the mold of Senator Scoop Jackson. They were an honorable opposition and also patriots. Although I disagreed with that party on some topics by and large they were on the side of America.
They were not a danger but simply other patriots with slightly different social viewpoints. Today the Democrat party is nothing but a Marxist Criminal Enterprise. They are like a dagger in the heart of the nation and our great constitution.
If you look at the democrat party of JFK it was actually farther to the right and more conservative than the elites of the Republican Party.

I’m surprised you think that. I’ve been impressed by Pat Caddell for more than a decade. He’a a decent and ethical man who calls Dems out on their lies.
I think in the end, he’s just a democrat Company Guy.
He knows who butters his bread.
And he is not a modern Democrat. He worked under Carter.
Who knows?
At this point in 1980 polls put Carter 8 points ahead of Reagan and look how that turned out !
however old line ‘liberal’ Caddell is, he still said on Fox news a month or two ago that he was going to vote for Hillary.
