Some Facebook employees have argued that Donald Trumps posts on the social network should be designated as hate speech and removed, according to a new report. The Wall Street Journal said today that Trump posts calling for a ban on Muslim immigration to the United States had triggered an emotional debate inside Facebook over enforcement of the companys community standards. CEO Mark Zuckerberg ultimately ruled against deleting the posts, which he argued would amount to censorship of a political candidate, according to the Journal.
The internal arguments started after Trump began discussing Muslim immigration last December, the report said. Zuckerbergs decision not to delete Trumps posts, as an unspecified number of employees had called for, drew complaints from employees around the world, it said. (It reportedly also generated support for Zuckerbergs decision.) The Journals report comes on the same day that Facebook said it would loosen some of its restrictions on explicit content if the post is deemed newsworthy or in the public interest.

Zuck is apparently not in agreement with his CEO.
She has her nose so far up Hillary’s butt that you
can’t see her feet anymore.
Yet they can’t keep the dick pics out of my inbox....
‘Some Facebook employees have argued that Donald Trumps posts on the social network should be designated as hate speech and removed’
Some Facebook employees managed to sit through 20 years of schooling without any sort of grasp of civil liberties.
They also seem to think that arbitrary designations of ‘hate speech’ will make it and the speaker disappear.
Because they hate Trump and Trump Supporters.
FB have couple H1b visa guys from Pakistan. They are rapid Islamist and they are in senior position.
500 Facebook employees argue against it. (hypothetical)
The may get away with it (or even forced to) in Europe, but here in America what they call hate speech is ‘protected speech’ and they should be punished for trying to censor it.
The real expression of hate is censorship.
Yup. You start censoring political speech, you alienate half your user base. Then your business model pretty much collapses.
Zuckerberg realizes that to censor would have FB go the way of Twitter, the NFL, CNN.
There are plenty of opinion websites out there, and certain opinions are bad for business.
and facebook was up $2 today.
There is very little difference between Democrats and Muslims. Both groups are Marxist/fascist totalitarian ideologies who hate God, hate Christians, hate religious Jews, hate religious freedom, hate freedom of speech, hate liberty, hate our constitution, hate America, hate Israel, all while worshiping Satan.

Generally I would agree, but folks are so damned stupid these days.
You have White folks walking hand in hand with the Black Lives Matter group, oblivious to what the BLM has planned for them.
Beats anything I’ve ever seen.
And they don’t ban muzzard hate rantings?
I have bad news for these FB employees. There is no such thing as “hate speech.”
I can prove it...
Who gets to decide what hate speech is? You or me.
Just like there is no such thing as “social justice.”
Who gets to decide what “social justice,” is? Me or you.

I can’t wait till all these people just go away. All of them. Statists of every stripe-—democrats, republicans, BLM, public schools, social justice warriors, the lame stream media, bureaucraps, publicly subsidized mooches and parasites, academia, and safe spacers.
President Trump should begin his administration by advocating regulating Facebook, Google and Twitter as utilities.
Well, if ‘some’ Facebook employees ‘around the world’ have a problem with free speech of an American presidential candidate, they can just go jump in a lake.
