Well I hope so, but doubtful. When I saw the poll where they asked people if they believed Trump or the women who accused him, the overwhelming percentage believed the women. I then realized that the American sense of justice is dead.
I haven’t seen those polls. Not sure how much credence I’d put in them. Bad if true.
However, I think we can agree on the fact that Trump’s campaign has been revealing. He has not held back, but given even the LIV a chance to hear how corrupt both HRC and the system is. If he loses despite that, then it is beyond all doubt that the USA of old is no longer.
In that - I still think less likely scenario - people will react differently. There will be despondency, anger and some who will try and start to rebuild from the bottom. However, the diagnosis of what has happened to the US (and the rest of the western world) would no longer be in doubt.
About half believed the women but some of that half still did not think it was disqualifying.
