Trump honored the memory of his father, Fred Trump, in this speech...
Imagine the wisdom of Fred molding his son by taking the Donald to this event decades ago. Fred also put his son to work in blue collar jobs for his company, and sent him off to military school too. Then he famously loaned $1 million, which his son eventually converted into a $10 billion business.
But more than all the business wisdom that Fred imparted, he also sowed the seed of greatness in his son, a man who will soon become the next Father of our Country, and a savior of a our nation in peril.
We the People are deeply indebted to you, Fred Trump. Well done!

Sometimes I think of the this election as Revenge of the Nerds. Trump is kicking back at the jocks, and asking all the nerds to unite against them.
Donald J. Trump deserves credit for even attending the dinner. To sit, breaking bread, with known enemies and disbelievers, is something difficult to do. Much courage and personal conviction is required to face these ‘folks’; but to sit down and break bread is way up there in these books. Something, personally, not enjoyed, employed, or ever attempted after the ‘first time’. If Halloween costumes were again considered to be cool...I’d travel to buy a HERO DONALD J. TRUMP costume and proceed to ring every door bell found.
Thank You, FRED and MARY for your son, and giving him the lessons needed through his young life. For making him the man he is today. Our nation is beginning to open its eyes to see the truth he states.
His job is to save souls. Perhaps he is inviting her to Confession.
When he's done being President, he can always move out to Redneck Country, somewhere. He'll always be a New Yorker ... and we'll call him a damyankee ... but we'll smile when we say it. And we won't stab him in the back.

I don’t believe Hillary Clinton hates Catholics; I do believe she and all liberals despise orthodox Catholicism. HRC has no problems with “Catholics” who brandish their Catholic credentials — their years in Catholic schools, their awards from Notre Dame — while voting for abortion rights all their lives. You know: Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Tim Kaine.
The Republicans always play nice at these things, they make fun of themselves. See Romney and Bush’s speech. Obama changed the game where he used the opportunity to attack his opponents, instead of self-deprecating humor. So glad Trump is playing by the new rules Obama started.
