Thursday, the NBCUniversal family – including NBC 6 – will join with GLADD and Go Purple to celebrate Spirit Day. The initiative encourages people nationwide to take a stand against bullying and show solidarity with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.
You can join in the efforts by wearing purple to help send a message of unity and that bullying is wrong and unacceptable.
If you and your co-workers join in on the campaign, share your photos and messages of support across social media simply by using the hashtags #PrideNBCU and #SpiritDay.

I don’t approve of bullying, but I also don’t approve of the targeted anti-bullying efforts. we should simply oppose all bullying.
Bullying is bullying. And bullies seldom act alone these days. Group bullying is the rage.

First they steal the ENTIRE month of June, for ‘gay” pride “week”. That month typically expands into the last 2 weeks of May!
The they steal December 1 as “world AIDS day”!
Then they steal October 20 as “spirit day”!
I am probably forgetting several more, and even if there aren’t any, there soon will be.
I say STOP the madness!!!! Let there be NO “gay”weeks, months, or days except for Halloween, which they’ve always had!

The rest of us can pretend we are—or even actually become—Orthodox Christian “extremists”, and skip Halloween altogether! That’s especially good to do in 2016, when we have a real WITCH running for President!!!
We can spend that night praying for Trump and Pence, and do something special for the children the following weekend. The whole point of skipping Halloween is NOT to deprive the children, but to save them and all others from “gaydom”, Hillary, and Satan!!!!

For instance, when they have an unreasonable boss? Or a con man knocking on their door? Or a denizen of BLM entering their home at midnight to liberate their TV?
Or, just a waiter that won't bring them a 2nd Pumpkin-Infused Organic Craft Beer in a timely manner?
Now, do kids need to be beaten or physically assaulted? No. But I've always maintained that a little bullying isn't necessarily a bad thing. Teaches them to recognize when trouble is lurking, and how to deal with it in an appropriate and proportionate manner.
If the queers, steers and uncertains would just keep out of other people's faces they'd be left alone. They bring it on themselves.

Exactly. By these folks term, agreeing with Biblical teaching on sex and marriage is “bullying”.
