Watching the debate last night it finally hit me.
Why Hillary stayed married all these years to a serial philanderer.
Fear. Fear of having to try to accomplish her life-long goal of becoming the President without her security blanket . . . Bill.
The plain truth . . . one that many Hillary sycophants just can’t handle . . . is that the difference in political IQ between Bill and Hillary is so wide you could drive the entire old Soviet Red Army through it.
It’s the difference between a Chemistry Major and a full blown Liberal Arts education. One is built on memory and one is built on critical thinking skills.
Putting aside Bill’s complete inability to act like a mensch (which he sometimes shares with Trump . . . which explains how galling this is going to be to her when she loses next month) one thing he certainly knew was how to think on his feet when necessary.
She can’t.
Rote memorization is fine if you need to learn the Periodic Table, formulas and the like. But it’s sort of like Colonel Nathan Jessup saying ‘if you don’t follow orders people die’. Multiple times last night we got the Hillary that can’t think on her feet and it wasn’t a pretty picture. When the sequence allowed her to think A, then B then C, she was able to SOUND fine.
SOUND FINE. POLITICALLY.
But when challenged outside her linear thinking she makes JEB! look energetic, Kasich likeable and Admiral James Stockdale look like a Harvard professor.
There is no there there. Or as Mondale would have said, ‘Where’s the beef’?
No wonder the entire Clinton operation and machine is targeted to avoid deviation from what she can handle. Why it is so overly analytical. The difference between running Bill and Hillary is that Bill could actually make a gut decision. One thing the Wikileaks emails clearly shows is that Team Hillary is the epitome of paralysis by analysis!
It was painful to watch last night.
How she freaked out at times.
And how lucky she was that Bernie didn’t make more of the emails himself. If he is smart he is kicking himself the rest of his life for that bonehead decision.
It also shows what happens when you surround yourself with loyalists and brook no dissent. The signs were always there. The many books written about her nasty demeanor in private. The Klein books on the Clinton-Obama feud. The complete reluctance to challenge her decision-making.
It’s all there. Compare how Team Clinton handled the private server to Team Clinton handling security concerns in 1993. Remember Gary Aldrich’s book Unlimited Access? The same thing all over again! SHE NEVER LEARNED HER LESSON! Hubris the Ancient Greeks called it. And Zeus had a way of sending the message.
And now this inability to deviate from script and learn the lessons will cost her the election.
To a man who must remind her of Bill’s worst trait of womanizing!
How so apt . . .
All this preparation time and look what good it did her.
The Foundation question? Wallace shredded her with it.
How can she come up with that answer? 90% goes to charity? It’s a PUBLIC entity that files an ANNUAL REPORT. How can she think she can lie through that one? And then she tries to BS her way through with talking about AIDS aid. It was W’s administration that got that ball rolling, not the Clinton Foundation.
Team Clinton worked well when Bill was at the top . . . he knew how to think quickly. She does not.
And last night one other old fable came into play . . .

November 9th will be a lot of fun for our side.
One of the most damaging moments...which the media has been trying to ignore came when Hillary was asked about her Brazilian speech where she spoke up in favor of Open Borders... She knew she was nailed. But lied anyways and claimed she had been talking about....ENERGY.

After reading through the Wikileaks email dumps. I am rather shocked at how scripted she really is. She memorizes transcripts of answers ... sometimes, like on the emails, there is a long and a shorter version. As I read the emails, I could see her in my mind’s eye on camera regurgitating those scripts word for word. She’s a robot programmed with talking points. Trump made the comment on Michael Savage that her “intellect” is highly overrated (I’m paraphrasing somewhat) .... he has noticed this in the debates, evidently. I was really hoping Trump could get her off-script. That is when she’s very uncomfortable and if the NBC/Lauer story is to be believed, it infuriates her when she’s given a question/topic for which she’s not been pre-scripted & she flew into a (Parkinson’s) rage.
To make matters much worse, her Parkinson’s, if that’s what ails her & I believe it is, is neuropsychiatric so it affects her mind .... it would make the scripting a necessity for her to function & make it very difficult for her to deal with things just thrown at her (that’s why all the questions at townhalls etc., when she takes them, are planted). I think Trump does well in the debates, but he does sometimes lose focus. He harps on a particular statement without necessarily hitting a key point which is waiting to be made. Some lost opportunities.
But I think that is a function of the fact that Trump is unscripted. He prepares by studying facts and thinking of positions. Then he waits for questions, and he answers the questions. It’s pretty remarkable. I respect that. I think it’s virtually impossible to be smooth and comprehensive with that technique, but he does well.
Hillary, on the other hand, memorizes stuff and regurgitates. I think that’s pretty pathetic. She’s a trained monkey.
So, you don’t think chemistry employs critical thinking skills?
Of course I do, but it makes an easy to understand visual.

I disagree with your comparison of chemistry to liberal arts. A chemist certainly knows lots of facts and figures, but a good chemist has deep critical thinking skills to figure out new ways to mix chemicals to make new and completely different formulas.
I work with a number of chemists. Some are rote thinkers. The good ones are kind of nuts and are amazing in the things they think of to make our products work stronger, faster and sometimes cheaper.

Exactly! Mrs. Bill Clinton got her power the old-fashion way for women-through the vagina.
She said that Mosul is near the Syrian border. It's not.
She said the Heller case that reached the Supreme Court was about trigger locks. It wasn't.
She said that she would pack the Supreme Court with activist judges, an outright assault on the very foundations of our governmental system. She apparently doesn't know that the role of the courts is to interpret the law, not make law. Or she doesn't care.
Clinton lied about so many things it was impossible to keep track of them all, including her views on the 2nd Amendment. Of course all we heard were her "public" positions, you have to pay $225,000 to hear her "private" positions.
Clinton talked about how awful it would be to have law enforcement officers deporting illegal aliens, but her husband deported millions of illegal aliens. She didn't have a problem with it then.
I disremember who said it last night, but this thought certainly pertinent to the discussion:
“Hillary is an empty pants suit!”
And even Mondale stole the line “Where’s the beef” from Wendy’s. He wasn’t a very fast thinker either.
