WIKILEAKS: Podesta Says It’s OK for Illegals to Vote With Driver’s License….

In the latest Wikileaks Podesta documents John Podesta actually says it is OK for illegals to vote if they have a driver’s license.

Trump says the system is rigged.

Then we see this email the next day.

John Podesta: I think Teddy’s idea scratches the itch, is pretty safe and uncomplicated. On the picture ID, the one thing I have thought of in that space is that if you show up on Election Day with a drivers license with a picture, attest that you are a citizen, you have a right to vote in Federal elections.

The article shows nothing that implies the email is about illegals.

Did he forget to include that key link?

A driver’s license is a privilege.
If you are a citizen you have a right to vote.
If you vote and are not a citizen you have broken the law and you should be sent home.

Yeah, I know.

I’ve been to SoCal; it was real pretty in several areas back in the 1980’s. Haven’t been there in awhile.

That being said, I never really ventured into L.A. I did, however, stop in a rental car at a stoplight in what looked like the wrong place in Long Beach one night after missing my exit on the freeway. Hit the gas and kept going after stopping for a sec. Only time I’ve ever done that.

Absolute show stopper.
ONE MILLION American son soldiers died to preserve and protect our republic, and their sacrifice is Disgraced by our disgusting corrupt politicians and lackeys.

I wish we could hog-tie drag everyone one of these bassturds and whores through every veteran cemetery road.

If we had a different candidate none of this stuff would have come out. We are now faced with the fact that yes it’s a rigged system. What are we going to do about it? If Trump wins it will be dealt with, if he doesn’t, then what?

Who is surprised? Rulings by leftist judges have been fostering this for a long time. Non-citizens are voting themselves to get our money courtesy of the rats.

How cute. /s

And while the MSM is distracted by “trump said What?” Podesta et al are registering illegals by the van load. States like Oregon are giving away motor voter with their newly allowed illegals’ driver licenses. you think they’re vetting who is and isn’t a citizen when they aren’t allowed to ask? Don’t worry though. I hear they have to check a box that states if they are a citizen.

The rest of the E-Mail further explains the intent, IMHO.

It sure does, ie: “attest you are a citizen”.
Illegal alien shows drivers license and is encouraged falsely claim they are a citizen.
Anyway, all an illegal needs to do lie on their voter registration that they are a citizen, and just show up to vote with a utility bill.
That’s it.
I asked our voting registar town team and they said though it’s not legal for an illegal alien to vote in a presidential election, they are not allowed to inquire any further than what the applicant writes.

What a country...

Well, clearly, asking for ID is not definitive as to whether you are a citizen or not.

It doesn’t say your DL if you are a citizen or not.

So, in theory, even if you are not a citizen and here legally and have a drivers license, you could probably register to vote. You’d have to lie on your voter registration form because I think it asks you if you are a citizen ... but whether they actually cross check that with any other database is unlikely.

So legal alien or illegal alien, if you have drivers license, you could probably register to vote and have a pretty good chance of not being caught.

Of course. It’s not a right to vote after perjuring yourself with regard to your citizenship.

What is strange is that Podesta used the word “right.” Perhaps he meant that the law has no provision for stopping such a liar befroe the fact, which seems the obvious goal of motor-voter registration.

Is he stating it as a mere fact, or noting it is as a strategic Democratic advantage? Like many other Wikileaks, the text is suggestive of his approval, but not smoking gun demonstrative.

However, the preponderance of the evidence is that the man is an unprincipled, dishonorable dirtbag.

intent does not show any requirement to prove citizenship..online registration is a joke..

I swear I am a citizen
Yo juro soy ciudadano...

California is like that what a joke! No id required to vote. Someone could make up thousands of people and vote for them. Now tell me what they (who is they) do to check?

all you need is name date of birth county (dont need street address)
and swear that you are over 18 and a us citizen:

I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that *
I am a U.S. citizen and will be at least 18 years old on election day.
I am not currently imprisoned or on parole for the conviction of a felony.
I have not currently been found to be mentally incompetent by a court of law.
I understand that it is a crime to intentionally provide incorrect information on this form.
The information on this form is true and correct.

I am an election judge in Texas and we can use the DL for an ID (or we did until the Feds sued the state of TX for being racist). The DIFFERENCE is the name must be on the voter registration list with matching address. We NEVER turn a voter away. If name is not in registrar (or in another precinct), the voter is given a provision ballot. They have 7 days to report to election office to verify/confirm voter registration for their vote to count.
