Former Republican presidential candidate and Ohio Gov. John Kasich is hitting back against the claim that the election is “rigged” -- an allegation that GOP nominee Donald Trump has repeatedly made in recent days.
When asked in an interview with “CBS This Morning” early Wednesday whether he believed Trump’s assertion of a cooked election was correct, Kasich replied with an emphatic “no.”
“Look, to say that elections are rigged and all these votes are stolen -- that’s like saying we never landed on the moon, frankly,” said Kasich. “That’s how silly it is.”
The Ohio governor further criticized Trump’s position for sowing paranoia about the integrity of democratic institutions.
“I don’t think it’s good for our country, for our democracy, and I don’t believe we have any massive fraud,” Kasich said. “We don’t have that. That’s just a silly argument.”
“The problem is it does create doubt in people’s minds and I worry about 25 percent of Americans who may say when the election’s over that it was stolen,” he added. “That is a big, fat joke.”
Kasich joins the growing chorus of voices blasting Trump’s unfounded claims -- a group that includes House Speaker Paul Ryan, a Wisconsin Republican.

So he doesn’t follow the news and has been too busy playing his part of the #2 “The Washington Generals” to Obama and Hillary’s “Harlem Globetrotters”.
This jerk needs to be removed from office with tar and feathers IMO. Maybe a free coupon can be given to him for improving table manners.
Didn’t a number of Ohio counties have over 100% participation last election.... nothing to see here, move along...

Kasich is a member of the inside-the-beltway Old Boys’ Club.
Naturally, he defends it; he doesn’t want to lose the key to the clubhouse.
Kasich is in denial. The evidence of millions of registered dead voters, of more millions registered in multiple states, of reports of rampant multiple-voting, and the recent O’Keefe videos of fraud operations run in support of the DNC, these all say that there is a real threat of voter fraud.
And we’ve not even dealt with the fraud possibilities in electronic voting.
Page 290 explains quite clearly how the mob rigged the vote in Chicago (bussing the same voters from precinct to precinct) for Kennedy and how the Illinois vote put Kennedy over the top.
Note that Nixon was on the mob payroll as well and so he kept his mouth shut.
Will somebody, ANYBODY, in the MSM bring this up?

Kasich was despicable before I knew he took Soros’ money, now he is evil, IMHO.
Did the reporter ask him if that is his personal opinion or if it is the big wad of Soros money talking???
I keep on getting this feeling that these Romney, Kasich, Paul Ryan Rubio types probably should be in jail right now.

It’s a campaign. A lot of moving parts here. Don’t wrap every statement around your axle.
If Trump loses this election, politicians like Kasich, Ryan and a few unnamed others, need to be voted out of office. I think it will be the time for a Third Party to gain substance in opposition to the gang of Democrats and Republicans that now control Washington.
What does one do in that situation? Demand a "provisional" ballot? Are you entitled to one?
Kasich is one face in a bowl of Cheetos away from being as batpoop crazy as Glenn Beck.
