Troll, eh? You do realize a 2.9% swing in one day on a 7 day polling average is massive, right? Means T vs C had a ~10-15% delta yesterday in Clinton’s favor compared to what they had been trending the previous week. Hopefully that’s just a bad representative sample but that is a large movement in one day in a 7 day poll.

I hear you. That said, while we all have been following PPD for weeks, its methodology and accuracy are the most opaque of all daily polls. We really have no clue what is happening there, in other words. At least Rasmussen and USC/LA Times are cited by many media entities.

I am NOT a troll.
I am a 56 year old now former democrat of 38 years (left the donkeys in March to vote for Trump in Maryland’s primary) and have been on board the Trump Train since the first primary debate.
I did vote for Bill Clinton in 1996 and for Obama in 2008.
I was going to vote for Mittens last time, but ended up missing my only General Election. Dealing with the death of my mother in October 2012 coupled with Mittens’ lackluster GE effort, prompted me to just stay home. I am now glad I did not waste a vote on Romney who turned out to be such a jerk.
I am praying for Trump to win because I know our republic will wither away and die under the tyrannical dictatorship of that evil FILL IN THE BLANK!!!
I never thought my country would be on the brink like this, much more so than even in 1980. It appears obvious that we deplorables, irredeemables are vastly outnumbered as the demographics of America have drastically altered.

Trump has declared war on the establishment.

Term limits.

No doubt the polls will really worsen for him, but don’t believe it.

Vote. Talk. Convince.

I never said there was. Why don’t you be honest about your post? If you follow through, you’ll see I was clearly referring the the PPD poll... which SOMEONE else brought up first, and I responded to

I wonder what the mood of this site would be if there were a one-week moratorium on posting any polls, even those showing Trump ahead.

That’s a one day swing of 2.9% in her favor! That’s more than statistical noise.

No, the result is still statistically a dead heat, and the change is within the 95% confidence interval.

But, if you look at how the responses redistributed, the reason for the net change is primarily because Trump votes reduced by 1.6%. Clinton only increased 0.5%.

Johnson increased 0.9% and Stein increased 0.3%. Undecided increased 0.2%.

PPD hasn't yet posted the D/R/I splits for today. It's been D+5 or D+6 for the past week, and it will be interesting to see if it is still the same today.

I’m in upstate new york - there’s no hillary support. None. But no one is displaying Trump colors either. This year a lot of people seem to be staying away from the bumper stickers, perhaps with good reason.

This thread is about the Rasmussen poll. That fact that you are posting about some other poll without providing any links/info about it, means you are trolling.

Good summation. This will be a late breaking decided election. Tonight starts the final assault for Trump. I think he took it easy on Hillary the first two debates. He kept his attacks on her limited through the first two debates in my opinion. Tonight I expect him to go full bore on Hillary. The woman has a ton of weaknesses, the most glaring is the one a president needs most and that’s thinking clearly in crisis. She can’t think on her feet. She is too programmed and we saw that in the last debate when she gets rattled she loses her train of thought easily. Trump will be in top form and tomorrow the Clintonistas will throw another “grope” victim out there to change the subject of Hillary’s loss in the debate.

Get a grip dude - I was responding to someone that posted that poll in here. Want some good news from me? REuters/Ipsos just came out and showed movement to Trump (down 4 vs ~8-9 last time IIRC)

Indeed. Reuters/Ipsos showed movement towards Trump today at least (+7C -> +4 C).

Brand new Reuters poll out... she’s only up 4.. within the MOE and within striking distance.. 3rd poll since the BB poll which shows it’s an absolute outlier

So what? No other polls can’t be discussed?

Look at post 4 on this thread. The person who posted the Ras poll brought up this poll.. so we commented.. show us the rules against commenting

Are you serious!?!? Commenting on what someone else posts is trolling?
