So true. People promoting and/or allowing this racist behavior need to be fired, especially on the high school level.
IMO this comment sums up the performance of all our soldiers,sailors,airmen and Marines during WWII.In Europe,the Pacific and elsewhere.

Not exactly. They played the game on Friday afternoon with no one except parents of players allowed to watch. They canceled the dance.

I agree. The national anthem should be mainly played at patriotic and military events. In addition, often the person singing the national anthem makes it all about themselves and not about love for the country

And abdicate another tradition? No National Anthem at sporting events, no government recognition of marriage, no free speech on college campuses (or anywhere else), decreased and eventual elimination of 2nd amendment rights, redefinition of our vocabulary (gay, marriage, fair share, human rights, contribution.) I am sick of ceding ground to these fascists.
