They make drum magazines for AR-15s and AK-47s, too. I have read that they aren’t very reliable.

“The officers shot the suspect three times and was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said”

So they know who “the suspect” is. Notice how they were careful, through the entire article, not to give a description or name?

I get the feeling “the suspect” may have found “refuge” here at some point in the past.....

Unpossible

1: Cali has common sense laws to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn’t have them. That is why they have no crime and no suicides.

2: There is no way a “good guy with a gun” could ever stand up to a bad guy with an evil black assault weapon, suitable only for war zones. I have been told that an AR makes you invulnerable to fire from a mere pistol.

I’m trying to get past a jammacious drum accounting for failure to fire the first round. Wouldn’t even a complete moron make sure there was a live round in the chamber BEFORE bursting through the door? Something is off about this story, besides the writing. By chance, was this “assault style rifle” fluorescent pink and yellow?

So, they shot him because he had an A-s-s-ault Rifle? Maybe if he had just used a common 30-30 lever action they would have let him get off a few rounds before nailing him!

Whaaaaat, didn’t the cops offer the guy an iced Pumpkin Mocha Caramel Macchiato??? Instead, they brutally opened fire, what an outrage. Maybe the cop haters on FR can come along to explain what THEY would have done....

The police officers were incredibly fortunate to go home that night. The Starbuck employees and customers as well.

“...So, they shot him because he had an A-s-s-ault Rifle...”

No, no, no... they said “assault STYLE”... And “style” means it was like Gucci or Armani or something. And EVERYONE knows “AR” stands for ARmani... It had like, pleats and pinstripes on the stock...

There is a security video.

It appears that the cops were inside drinking coffee. This sob tried to ambush them, as if he knew they would be in the Starbucks.

Fortunately for them, his gun jammed, and he tried run away.

They shot him as he tried to unjam his weapon. He had body armor on and a pistol besides his jammed weapon.
