Odell Beckham Jr. [NY Giants] punctuated a magnificent game Sunday against the Ravens by taking one knee no, not during the national anthem and pantomiming a proposal to the kicking net, his old enemy.

He’s a stand up guy. Took the monetary penalty for wearing 9/11 on his uniform more than once, I think.
1. He's an exceptional player.
2. For all his antics, he comes across as a good guy. Here's an image of the shoes he wore -- in violation of NFL rules (I believe he was fined for it) -- at the Giants' home game on 9/11 this season.
I saw this, he scored, didn’t do anything flashy in the end zone (though he was penalized 15 yds for simply taking off his helmet, behind the end zone, after the whistle). He jogged around to his team’s sideline and knelt before the net in a joking manner.
I saw it as humorous, I was a little annoyed that they threw a flag for taking a helmet off after a play was dead.
Almost cost his team the game by taking off his helmet and getting a 15 yard penalty, but hey he got his pre scripted celebration done and that’s what’s important
The NFL is not about entertainment?
I met his mom when I ran against (behind!!) her many years ago. Even though she was a in a different class of talent than the rest of us she was very kind. I was only an eighth grader at the time so having this superstar senior shake my hand and wish me luck before the finals left me a bit star struck. He comes from good people:).
I saw the play, and thought that he was off the field behind the back of the end zone, also.
I don’t know the technicality of the rule, as to whether you have to be on the sideline vs off the field of play, but that’s exactly what I thought the call was... a technicality.
If he had a more accurate quarterback than Eli “Back Foot” Manning throwing the ball, he would probably break the single season receiving record. The potential yardage that gets left on the field in a typical game because of Back Foot is staggering!
Like everything in the media, it has to be THEIR VERSION of entertainment.
Catching a ball like this doesn't even seem humanly possible:
Went into week 3 of my NFL boycott and missed everything. Funny how it only took 3 weeks to break a 65 year habit. At this point I’m not sure I will ever go back as I was able to quickly fill the time with other activities, most of which were healthier for me.
And he got me 32 points in fantasy football yesterday, so I’m good with that.
Great :)
As a lifelong, diehard Redskins fan, it was fun watching him self-destruct when Josh Norman shut him down several weeks ago. He humiliated himself with the net fiasco, and now he is just trying to save face.
