Yep. Threatening the court would be politicized by an adverse decision is not a threat.
But threatening to take his children away and send them back to Ireland was sufficient. That is what persuaded him.

Very belieavable and probably 100 percent true. We won’t know for sure until Roberts leaves the court and writes his memoirs.

I can't buy that anyone, reaching that position in the Judicial would be that weak; specially a man.
He would be creating a nation inimical to the health, safety and welfare of his children and their descendants (if any!)
He can't be that dumb and shortsighted to fail to see that!
