CNN President Jeff Zucker on Friday said it was a "mistake" to air so many Trump rallies "and let them run" in 2015, giving the candidate an unfettered platform to call Mexicans rapists, support bans on Muslims from entering the US, and overall grow his base, which includes white nationalists.
"If we made any mistake last year, it's that we probably did put on too many of his campaign rallies in those early months and let them run," Zucker said at a talk at the Harvard Kennedy School. "Listen, because you never knew what he would say, there was an attraction to put those on air."

This long forgotten – or completely UNKNOWN among the “snowflakes” and “yutes” — HISTORY of the close relationship between the leftist “educated” (indoctrinated is more like it) “pseudo elite” dumb asses being churned out of colleges and universities here and the Marxist socialism (which, if not strangled in its crib, has ALWAYS morphed into communism) that has failed everywhere it has been tried may aid your understanding of the media’s vicious hatred of Trump and his supporters (the now infamous “DEPLORABLES”).
The sad fact is that the media here is overwhelmingly populated by these deluded dumb asses! Any nefarious, otherwise disreputable act by them is acceptable — even encouraged — because, according to Marxist/socialist methodology, all that matters is “THE STRUGGLE” for their insane Utopian workers’ paradise where all will be equal but some — including most of THEM — will be more equal than others!
You may be growing weary of hearing this but I’ll keep reminding folks until we reach the critical mass needed to defeat them. During Hitler’s rise to power as head of the Nazi (National SOCIALIST) Party in the 30s, he was greatly aided by one Ernst Rohm, head of the SA. Once Hitler had gained total control of Germany, in 1934 he purged (as in KILLED!) the party of EVERY member he felt might challenge his position. His old friend, Herr Rohm was rewarded for his help with a bullet in his brain in a jail cell!
Should this — this — WOMAN and her criminal crew prevail in November, it is my fervent prayer that those who aided her rise suffer similar fates — especially those in the media who have committed countless acts of the sort now the norm in the mendacious media here.

I believe the expression that best characterizes the relationship between the media and the Clintons is the old one from the 50s: “FELLOW TRAVELERS”! You “snowflakes”and “yutes” will need to look it up as I doubt your teachers brought it to your attention.
Years ago, Dr. Gary North predicted that the radical left would capture America with the insane and human nature denying goal of “transforming” it into an egalitarian unicorn and rainbow Utopia by “capturing the ROBES”. By that, he meant those institutions we granted various levels of authority over us and our affairs: The clergy, the judiciary... and the ACADEMICS.
The roots of the problems in academia flow back to something referred to as the Frankfurt School and their 1935 move to COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY and the spread of Marxist thought (now there’s an oxymoron for ya’!) into every area of learning here.
A prime example of the rot now endemic in the academy is the COLUMBIA SCHOOL OF “JOURNALISM”. It is THE premier center for spreading Marxism here in America and it has been incredibly successful in its destruction of traditional and American values. Not only do its direct graduates permeate the media here, but many of them also double as teachers in lesser known institutions of media instruction. Herein lies the genesis of Limbaugh’s descriptive expression “Driveby Media”. Now you know why virtually every so-called “journalist” HATES folks like us.

Isn’t it fascinating that here is an early instance of a Marxist ANTI-CAPITALIST organization financing itself with the hated PROFITS of a capitalist business? The hypocrisy is mind-boggling and a precursor to how the wealthy capitalists here fund the Clinton and other leftist machines!
More recent examples of that dichotomy would be the offspring of John D. Rockefeller who have largely spent their lives promoting socialism (using other people’s money, of course). And recently Bill Gates treated us to the wisdom that only SOCIALISM can solve the woes of this world. What these folks refuse to acknowledge that even THEY do not possess sufficient personal wealth to make a dent in those woes if the recipients of that largess are incapable of sustaining themselves once the largess stops flowing or is exhausted.
If one examines the life of Karl Marx, we find a bum who abandoned his wife and family to advance the socialist struggle and never worked or dirtied his hands at day in his life. That sort of thing was for the bourgeoisie, not such an exalted personage as himself. His guilt over that abandonment probably explains Karl’s fondness for state welfare paid for by the labor of others so that his abandoned family wouldn’t perish (not that a mensch like Karl gave a rat’s ass).

Never watched a Trump rally on CNN. Mostly rsbn. Occasionally cspan or Fox Business. Sounds like this guy is just another media attention whore.
Currently in the news, Zucker ordered a gag on WJC's "son" story, yet will air the slightest unverified allegation against Trump ad nauseam.
The main stream media did everything they could to give Trump the nomination as against Hillary they thought he was the most defeatable.
Once he won the nomination they turned on him like a pack of hungry jackals. I predicted this during the primaries on the pages of Free Republic. I like Trump but he was not my first choice but today he is our only choice.
Today to their horror, and the horror of the Republican elite and the Democrat elite they realize that he may win and the house of cards will come tumbling down.
This election is not between Republicans and Democrats. This election is between the people and the elites of all parties, wall street elites, international elites, global financial elites, inteligencia elites, academic elites and tyranny. It is really that simple.
One must ask why the capitalist corporations of Wall Street support Hillary. The answer is what we have at high levels of commerce is crony capitalism. They are corrupt as Hillary is corrupt. They give her money and she gives them tax advantages and special access to international deals.
The corporations deal with reality. They pay money to the corrupt for corrupt advantages in commerce via a corrupt government.

They are clearly propagandists. They don’t even try to pretend objectivity any more and thus do not deserve the privileges given to journalists that were derived from it. Deny them press credentials. It is time for other media sources to flourish with the extinction of these dinosaurs.

The Internet will do that over time as bandwidth and availability increases. Why do you think that the Rats are so anxious to “internationalize” control? They think the that authoritarian nations will censor content and it will fragment and devolve down to something like state controlled TV. Which will mean something US liberals can control(or so they and MSM media mandarins think!). I think the “fragmentation” will happen anyway whether the domain naming is internationalized or not. It will now happen faster with domain name internationalization. The solution is to get Trump in and keep our “fragment” and those that want join it one of increasing technical sophistication, ever high bandwidth and free of government interference. If that’s done the other “fragments” will ether join or wither. Broadcast media will as we know it disappear. Everyone with mobile devices will be actor, emcee, newsreporter, political editor, writer, producer , etc. In fact it could be so diverse (Don’t liberals like diversity?) that people will complain about that! It will be a loud cacophony of voices and opinions that will come & go, truth & lies will be said. It will the listener/viewer/participants job to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Or we could boring liberal “sameness” where we are told how to think, vote, etc!
