The thing is that we have Hillary’s word on her good health - but frankly, depending on Hillary’s word is a slender reed. And we know that something is up with Hillary’s health, because you don’t have the incident which went down of 9/11/16 in NYC, and have it handled in the way it was handled, unless everyone in Hillary’s detail was on board and up to speed on how it will be handled. Otherwise things are done differently. That was not the first rodeo.According to the Parkinson’s Disease promoted and explicated by Dr. Ted Noel, Hillary has spent three days “preparing for the debate” in both two prior debates, and AFAIK Hillary is already “preparing” for the next one. Dr. Noel supposes that because the side effects of the drug Hillary uses (he names what it would be) build up and would be obvious in a debate, Hillary goes into withdrawal for three days so that the dose she can take right before the debate provides the maximum benefit possible without, it can be hoped, side effects which are detected via the TV cameras. Therefore presumably DT is correct that a drug test, honestly administered, would reveal the Parkinson’s med Hillary is taken.
But if Trump really believes that Parkinson’s is the problem (he may not be willing to bet on that) he would learn from a qualified MD how to demonstrate to the public, and to the nation’s doctors, that indeed he does not have Parkinson’s Disease. And he would perform that demonstration live during the debate. Then he would challenge Hillary to match his demonstration, not only on the debate stage but repeatedly when she has not had the opportunity to “peak” the effectiveness of the drugs she is (presumably) taking, just for the debate.
She’d take the sympathy bid, probably, and complain about how harsh these tighty righty Republicans are about not wanting people to be counted equally even if they need medical help.
And she might even have a point. FDR managed an enormously popular and powerful presidency from a wheelchair and only an inner circle knew.
God knows how, and when, to temper a matter with grace. She’s not even in an FDR like position, where with her accommodation she can carry on quite competently in other matters. She’s conked out and require her body double to appear. Would that kind of malarkey be permitted in the presidency itself? I hope not. We are not cruel but we want openness and honesty about what we are going to be kind about.
