US prepped for massive cyber assault on Russia

The Obama administration is threatening to launch a vast cyber war against Russia in response to the country’s alleged interference with the presidential election.

Vice President Joe Biden told NBC News Friday that “we’re sending a message” to Russian President Vladimir Putin and that the wide-ranging “clandestine” cyber operation will take place.

“We’re sending a message,” Biden said during an interview with “Meet the Press” that will air on Sunday. “We have the capacity to do it. It will be at the time of our choosing, and under the circumstances that will have the greatest impact,”

The vice president belittled Russia’s alleged interference in the US election but stressed their efforts, however futile, would be responded in kind.

“Their capacity to fundamentally alter the election is not what people think,” Biden said.

“And I tell you what, to the extent that they do we will be proportional in what we do.”

It was not clear whether the American public would be alerted when or if an attack actually took place. When asked about whether the public would even be aware an attack took place Biden simply said “Hope not.”

Intelligence officials told NBC News that CIA has already begun “opening cyber doors, selecting targets and making other preparations for an operation.”

James Stavridis, a retired four-star Navy admiral who served as the supreme allied commander at NATO, told NBC that the CIA should “embarrass” the Kremlin by exposing financial dealings of Putin and his cronies.

This will not only be an excuse to accuse Russian of shutting down our internet, it will also be an excuse to postpone the elections. Lots of places have electronic voting only.

So, I don’t think they’re going to do a thing to Russia. They’re going to shut us down.

This is the reason Slow Joe is running his mouth. They’re trying to convince the American people that Russia is going to shut down the internet. And the republicans will go along with it.

If they really do what they say they’re going to do, Putin will blow a lot of shit up. And I wouldn’t blame him.

If it looks like Trump is going to win?

Oh, he's going to win and win big.

It's why we've seen the corrupt in D.C. and their lying media ramp up their hysteria and lies recently. The media crowns of collusion have called Trump everything but a mass murdering baby molester.

Whats interesting is Trump was never called a racist, bigot, Nazi or woman abuser BEFORE he ran against the D.C. disciples of deceit.☺ And now suddenly they're trying to portray Trump as the corrupt bad guy and Hillary Clinton is the good guy. No sale.

Americans have been looted, lied to and conned way too long. The jig is up.

Certainly the American Left is our chief enemy - to the point of treason and beyond. Telegraphing responses to bad behavior is merely the tip of their iceberg of crimes.

I cannot prove that the hacking problem is state-sponsored... I do believe that it is very likely that the Russian government is (at a minimum) complicit if not actively engaged. But in general: those attempting to line their pockets with the funds of unsuspecting Americans and/or causing overt damage to our electronic infrastructure do indeed represent enemies to the United States of America, and irrespective of any other considerations, I would absolutely have dealt with this problem years ago.

So yes: I don’t need the Left to identify our enemies (they do such a marvelous job of this, after all). If somebody is messing with the interests of the United States of America, then they are our enemy.

Knowledge is power.

By informing the public the specifics of why we are clashing with Russia and the corruption behind it ... we unravel any hope of a graceful smokescreen.

It would get ugly. Public and military support would rapidly erode. Law enforcement would also decentralize.

Ham radios, CBs, printing machines, and perhaps landline phone systems would quickly spread the word reg. the dark underbelly of any such contingency.

Maybe this is not about pushing us to the brink with Russia. It could be about challenging the election if Trump wins. They might be laying groundwork.

It is reported, but not sourced, the CIA is planning a cyber attack against Russia. Have to keep the bad Russian hackers on the front page.

If Trump wins (by a squeaker or a landslide) Hillary will not conceed and the results will be challenged based on claims Russia did hack voting systems.

Proof? Comey said proof would be unlikely.

The script will go like this:
No way did Trump win. All one has to do is look at the polling data. Blah. Blah. Blah. Even Comey said there would be no proof. Obama never said we had proof the Russians hacked the DNC. He said " We believe."

If the dems challenge the election claiming the Russians, not the electorate, put Trump in power, God help us. We will see a Constitutional Crisis no one ever imagined. Hillary will not conceed. The legal challenges will make the Florida recount crap child's play.

Still, poking the bear is never a smart thing to do. There will be unintended consequences. I hope I am wrong. Time will tell.

What I find interesting is that wikileaks is slow releasing these things. Once they're done w/ Podesta, that putz, they'll start on the next clintoon goon.
