The Obama administration is threatening to launch a vast cyber war against Russia in response to the country’s alleged interference with the presidential election.
Vice President Joe Biden told NBC News Friday that “we’re sending a message” to Russian President Vladimir Putin and that the wide-ranging “clandestine” cyber operation will take place.
“We’re sending a message,” Biden said during an interview with “Meet the Press” that will air on Sunday. “We have the capacity to do it. It will be at the time of our choosing, and under the circumstances that will have the greatest impact,”
The vice president belittled Russia’s alleged interference in the US election but stressed their efforts, however futile, would be responded in kind.
“Their capacity to fundamentally alter the election is not what people think,” Biden said.
“And I tell you what, to the extent that they do we will be proportional in what we do.”
It was not clear whether the American public would be alerted when or if an attack actually took place. When asked about whether the public would even be aware an attack took place Biden simply said “Hope not.”
Intelligence officials told NBC News that CIA has already begun “opening cyber doors, selecting targets and making other preparations for an operation.”
James Stavridis, a retired four-star Navy admiral who served as the supreme allied commander at NATO, told NBC that the CIA should “embarrass” the Kremlin by exposing financial dealings of Putin and his cronies.

Hillary was willing to sacrifice those in Benghazi for political expedience and Obama and company are willing to sacrifice a LOT of Americans for the same reason.
Empty threats. If it were official they would have to follow through to save face so instead it gets leaked because it’s an empty threat. The problem is that Russia will take it seriously.
This doesn’t end well for anyone and the justification doesn’t exist.
What obama is doing is complete bullshit. IF Russia was REALLY doing the crap obama says it is AND the obama had hard evidence to back up his claim, then the U.S. would QUIETLY, and non publicly, inform Russia to cut it out or else.
The fact that Obama is so nosily announcing this means it’s nothing more than an empty political stunt that he hopes will benefit Hillary by making people think the Russians are interfering in the U.S. election, presumably, and illogically, preferring the person that Obama and Hillary keeps trying to tell us is a loose cannon.

The State Department computer people should simply have placed the yahoo site off-limits to Hillary’s official computers.

But the neocons told that Assad and Syria is are evil and its too bad all the Christians, who support Assad, must be slaughtered by the jihadist fighting for an Islamist state. Those same neocons who, without exception, lied us into the Iraq war, the destruction of Libya, fomented the Ukraine unrest, et. al. And, all without exception, are supporting Hillary for President. Paul Wolfowitz, Bill Kristol, Dov Zakheim, Jonah Goldberg, Doug Feith, Michael Chertoff, Max Boot, Michael Ledeen, Jon Podhoretz, Robert Kagan, Elliott Cohen, et. al., are all "with her".
It's nothing more than an act of lying to the public. Nothing more. No action will be taken against Russian interests that isn't already ongoing.

Russia agreed to provide military training for three leftist regimes in Latin America and increase military visits and exercises following a visit last week to the region by Moscow's Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu, Pentagon officials said.
Shoygu met with defense and military leaders in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua and signed several agreements on warship visits and military training during the visit, which ran from Feb. 11 to 14. It is not clear whether any new arms deals were completed during the visit.
Defense officials said the Russian leader is seeking bases in the region for strategic bomber flights that Shoygu recently promised would include flights over the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.

Thank you. I am glad somebody gets it. They are setting the table for Hillary's loss, and the subsequent demand for a redo or recount or nullification of the election.
