I worked on Capitol Hill before I was 20 and saw it every day. Lots going on there, but most has nothing to do with running the government.

I had this same conversation a couple of weeks ago with someone else. I don’t think she was innocent in the ways of the sexual world, but I do think she was abused by Clinton. Save for JFK and possibly LBJ, no other president before or after would have taken advantage of a mixed up young woman. Then when she became a problem, they were willing to lie about her to make the situation come out in Bill’s favour. She’s lucky it wasn’t something worse. Sexually innocent, no. I am a 54 year old professor and I have NEVER messed with any female coed since I started 27 years ago. To this day, my office door stays wide open at all times. I have worked too hard to get where I am today. Many of my students today are the children of the students who were around me when I first started.
Having said that, over the years I have heard rumors of some transgressions and remember of one prof in my area of study (Agriculture) at another Midwestern University who lost his job to this very issue.
This may be more common in the business and humanities.
