She was so smart and a dedicated Constitutional conservative. She now has no memory and still wants Fox News on sometimes. She gets all her info from what she has just seen in the last minute. She doesn’t know who is president or who is running, she hates Obama and Hillary but isn’t sure if either of them are president and doesn’t know what day, month, or year it is.
After a few minutes of watching Fox News, she doesn’t want to vote for either Hillary or Trump, bemoans our choice, and says she will write in Paul Ryan. (I’ve stopped trying to tell her the truth of the election’s magnitude even though after I do, she “gets it” for a few minutes). She is a good “control” test subject to see the immediate effects of the media influence on a low info voter. She is the ultimate Low Info Viewer. (She will not be voting.)
Conclusion: If Nixon had had better lawyers and a compliant press, he would have finished his term a hero. He would have proved to the world that the 18 1/2 minutes were yoga exercises.
