In New Responses, Hillary Clinton Insists Email Setup A Matter of 'Convenience'
NPR ^ | Oct. 13, 2016 | Carrie Johnson

Hillary Clinton said she decided to employ a private email server "for the purpose of convenience" in early 2009 and doesn't remember "specific consultations" about using that account to conduct State Department business, the Democratic presidential nominee told lawyers in material related to a Freedom of Information Act case released Thursday.

In written responses to 25 questions from the conservative group Judicial Watch, Clinton largely hewed to her prior statements about the email controversy, often saying she did not recall details about the arrangement. Clinton signed the court filing "under penalty of perjury" on October 10, one day after her debate with Republican nominee Donald Trump.

This is not even a question of using personal email server instead of the required government one, which would still be bad,

This is an issue that she literally endangered national security by sending information that must only be sent on classified, secure networks, over insecure, home unclassified server where any hacker can get to it easily.

This is highly illegal and most people lose their security clearance and go to jail for this.

Hillary’s server was a matter of treason, in my opinion!

Running your own email server vs. having the State Department IT guys give you a SecretaryClinton@state.gov address and take care of everything? The only thing the personal server made more convenient was wiping the emails (with a cloth and a little BleachBit) which would have been backed up and very difficult to delete.

She does, in fact, remember that in direct convention of rules and laws...

Performing government activities on a non-government controlled network. If I didn’t know any better, I would say she was purposely trying to hide her activities.

People have taken highly classified files home to work on them out of convenience and been prosecuted.

She went beyond that...

Inconvenient Lies

She already has a slam dunk perjury conviction videotaped from various Congressional hearings

This judge can't do anything to her that she has not alrady done to herself.

The Judges only option is to issue a scathing review of her actions that could hurt her in the poll or appoint a special prosecutor

The occurrence of a breach implies negligence: security res ipsa loquiter.
The fact that we’re reading her e-mails ...
there’s no telling, for now, how badly we were hurt by her cavalier attitude towards national security laws.

What a lame excuse. Its like telling the judge you drove the car on the sidewalk as a matter of convenience. The Corkscrew wasn’t supposed to have a server in her home PERIOD!

Yeah, back when I had a clearance, security was an inconvenience, in fact it was a real PITA. But everyone took it seriously, and there were consequences if you messed up.

LOCK HER UP!

18 U.S. Code § 2071 - Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally

(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.

What the hell good is a law if it can be broken at will?

It’s convenient to keep the records of the sale of US foreign policy to the highest bidder out of the hands of criminal investigators, isn’t it?

Have yet to hear what use the classified info was on the outside. Don’t think it included insider financial data or anything else with profit potential.

Not waiting for some “journalist” to investigate.

My questions is this: Hillary says she never sent/received any classified information from her personal server. That the only emails she destroyed were “personal” and hence not of concern to the FBI.

So - how the hell did she manage classified business email? Where DID her classifed email go. She had only ONE email address (for convenience) yet she did not intentionally turn over any classified emails to the FBI. (Comey did find some 105 classified emails, defying her claim of none).

But she was Sec. of State. Are we supposed to believe she never received any classified emails????

In fact, I read some of the Wikileaks emails, unfortunately I can’t the same one right now, but it said that she didn’t use email for classified documents, that they were always printed out and handed to her. She said she always used a private room to read them, or when that was impossible sometimes put a blanket over her head.

Really? Really? Does any of this make any sense? I know I read and wish I had book-marked it.

Her “convenience” got four Americans killed in Benghazi. No telling how many others she got killed.
