24 hrs since I left fox news...How long can I go?

Posted on 10/12/2016 1:40:12 PM PDT by pacificus

So I finally did it, I cut myself off of all Foxnews. No watching their news on tv, no watching their youtube channel. Its been 24 hours, and strangely, I feel ok.

No more nasty psy-ops trying to demoralize the republicans and independents who want real change in the government. Should this thing get stolen from us, I'm going to register as an Indy. Hope it doesn't come to that.

Getting by with FR and Infowars youtube videos.

How about it folks? Anyone with me?

What other video news do we have out there?

Hang in there folks, were almost at the Finish Line!

Go Trump!

I stopped watching national “news” on TV years ago. I only watch local. None of the national news outlets relay news anymore ... it’s all agenda and opinion. Whatever happened to just giving us the facts?

Don’t register as an “Indy.” You won’t be able to oust the incumbents in the next primary.

I don’t think I’ve turned them on since March or April.

There are other places to see attractive women in tight-fitting dresses.

Wait ... Infowars? Seriously? The chemtrails-are-evil guy? You can do better than that.

I left Fox years ago, at least 3 years ago, maybe 5 by now. It’s been nice. I also registered as an independent at least 3 years ago. That’s been great, too.

This election night will be 4 years sans FOX News for me. I don’t miss it at all. Living without the news media telling me what’s important hasn’t diminished my own knowledge about what’s going on around the world one bit. Plus, I’m happier and healthier than I’ve ever been.

I don’t have cable, so I don’t really know what goes on, on air.

However, just go to the major news websites today - Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN. Only on one of these will you find honest reporting about wikileaks. The others pretend it isn’t happening, or twist the story into a Russian spy thriller.

Warts and all, Fox isn’t all bad, IMHO.

Fox BUSINESS Channel is much better. Much more conservative. They avoid all the liberal pundits, such as Geraldo and that Julie Roginsky (that Russian Babe). The only problem is that Time Warner does not offer their “start over” feature on FBN.

For non-local news watch One America News. They present the news in a straightforward manner and there's no Trump bashing.

If I tried that, it’d be no more cinnamon swirls at Mrs. Winner’s (where they have Fox News on the TV).

No can do.

I think that depends on which state you’re in. In my state, Indiana now, at the primary time I just have to tell them which party I want to use for the primary. I can vote in either one.
