A VERY cool and constructive concept from the mind of a doer, for sure.

One wonders if the designer’s implementation and its uniqueness would match all the ways some low life inhabitant could eff it up when FEMA decides to buy a $100 Billion dollars of these things to use as a placebo for all the dingy no goods clamoring for “their piece of the pie.”

This could be done on a small scale economically for emergency housing.

One problem, every wife will want to know where do you put the furniture??? Open they are roomy but closed no room for things like sofa, bed, table, chairs, you know the essentials.

The animated renderings show these just expanding and unfolding by themselves, but reality will involve several more trucks, cranes and workers. It certainly has an advantage of speed, but site prep will need to be done and foundations will still need to be in place. I’m not sure this would save any money.
