Trump declares war on GOP, says ‘the shackles have been taken off’
The Washington Post ^ | October 11th, 2016 | By Sean Sullivan, Robert Costa and Dan Balz

Donald Trump declared war on the Republican establishment Tuesday, lashing out at House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (Wis.), Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) and other GOP elected officials as his supporters geared up to join the fight amid extraordinary turmoil within the party just four weeks before Election Day.

One day after Ryan announced he would no longer campaign on Trump’s behalf, the GOP nominee said as part of a barrage of tweets that the top-ranking Republican is “weak and ineffective” and is providing “zero support” for his candidacy. Trump also declared that “the shackles have been taken off” him, liberating him to “fight for America the way I want to.”

Trump called McCain “foul-mouthed” and accused him with no evidence of once begging for his support. The 2008 nominee pulled his endorsement following a Friday Washington Post report about a 2005 video in which Trump is heard making vulgar comments about forcing himself on women sexually.

“I wouldn’t want to be in a foxhole with a lot of these people, that I can tell you. ... especially Ryan,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News Channel. He said if he is elected president, Ryan might be “in a different position.”

In perhaps the most piercing insult, Trump said his party is harder to deal with than even Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, whom conservatives loathe. Yet he also released a new TV ad featuring footage of Clinton coughing and stumbling during a recent bout with pneumonia — signaling that few issues are out of bounds for his scorched-earth campaign.

Debra Strobel “Deb” Fischer is the senior United States Senator from the state of Nebraska. Trumplicious. :)

I did the same, only 21 years ago. You do realize that pretty much everything is air conditioned in Texas, right?

Also, do you prefer to live in slavery in a ‘good’ climate (well, except for the rioting, raping, looting, liberals, fires, earthquakes, lack of water, brownouts/blackouts, mudslides, illegals, liberals, liberals, liberals, did we mention liberals) or would you prefer to live free in a place that’s a bit less hospitable?

Remember, by living in CA and continuing to pay taxes - be they sales, income, vehicle or whatever - you are actually paying the state to abuse and enslave you.

The media was going to do it no matter what trump did. They made Romney into a murderer and heartless guy despite a tremendous dedication to helping people and incredible work ethic (not a fan but they were able to turn a 180 on reality).

Trump was going to face these headwinds no mater what he said or did.

NOW we are FIGHTING BACK and not screaming in disgust at the TV screen watching another gutless RINO take it on the chin!

That might be the biggest part of the dynamic.

I thnk Trump may have set this up so that it's only a few short steps from screaming in disgust at your TeeVee screen, and going into the street to scream with the others that you KNOW are there.

“See my post #74. :)”

Bingo.

Amazing that republican base were always upset because the gop nominee wouldn’t fight back then when one fights back it’s said that the fighting back will cause them to lose.

I think the law and funds are there for the wall, Trump just has to start getting bids. Republicans wouldn’t deny his excellent SCOUTS choices. Other than that, let it be gridlocked til we can vote the rinos out.

Maybe we need to turn every voting precinct into a day-long Trump rally on November 8...

The Million Precinct March. "Think National, Loom Local".

Those effing bastards who think they own us need to get a load of a large, restive crowd at every possible precinct, waiting for the scumbags to try to steal it.

There's no law against it, is there? I don't think so. :)

Oh, I gathered as such (re: air conditioning in Texas). Both my wife and I were born and raised in the Central Valley of California. While not Texas hot, it was hot and dry enough to really not want to move back to it. Being less than an hour from the coast now is also a plus.

But we love our daughter enough to actually consider a move to Texas. We'll both be retired by next Spring, so we're not going anywhere just yet.

Was President Reagan a dictator? The GOP did not want him, the voters did. He had a connection with the voters; after he was elected if he wanted to do something that he thought or knew Congress didn’t support he made his case directly to the people. Knowing he could do that made it easier for him to negotiate with Congress.

The thing to remember is the sleaziest politician has to have votes to continue and they have to have a lot of votes to even get close enough to cheat. The reason they have been ignoring we the people is because we held our nose and voted for them any way. If Trump wins it will be a wake up call for many politicians that things are indeed changing.

See my post #90.

What about a Million Precinct March?

LOOM over the process, and the fraudulent voting, and the lying Media gas.

It's only one day out of our lives...

The party Must throw Ryan out now and denounce him...excommunicate Ryan from the party. With prejudice. If the party wants to survive, they must throw him out.

> I live in the wrong part of the country to have much to be upbeat about. I live in one of the lesser liberal areas of California (though still quite left leaning), and I get my choice of two DEM candidates for our House seat.

Well, I live in upstate NY. It's mostly rural, conservative, with a few moderate cities (Syracuse, Rochester, etc.) but we are completely outnumbered (even if they didn't cheat) by the huge entrenched Democrat machine in New York City. So NY State's electoral votes nearly always end up with the Democrat. Meaning it doesn't matter who I vote for... sort of. In fact I am hoping that this year is different. But who knows.

So you're not alone in feeling out of control.

No, the msm will not get Hillary elected. Them, the Republicans, and the Democrats might be able to steal the election for her. Should they manage to steal the election for her and we allow it to stand, we deserve what they do to us. And believe me, they will do plenty. All bad. As I have posted before, this election is not for the faint hearted. We have a fighter to lead us, and he needs fighters to lead.

I have read time after time different posters post, “If the Republicans cause Trump to lose, I am not voting Republican again.” In that , they are correct. Because if Hillary wins, there won’t be an “again”. We will have one chance November 8, 2016. If we do not do the job, forget about it , it won’t get done. The fate of the Republic, our children, grand children, husbands, wives, and us depend on what we do between now and November 8, 2016.

This is nonsense unless you want to elect a dictator

Huh?? You seriously are lacking basic comprehension skills? Nothing of the sort was at all implied.

Reactions such as yours are expected from people who inhabit the DUmp.
