Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, alongside Former Vice President Al Gore, are holding a campaign rally at Miami Dade College’s Kendall campus, Tuesday afternoon.

Gore always sounds like he’s talking to a kindergarten class. I half expected him to say, “If you vote for Hillary, we’ll take all the Republicans’ cars away and give them to you.”

I watched on local news and they did show the crowd. About 50 fans were seated with signs directly behind her on bleachers holding the campaign signs.

Another 150-200 or more were facing the podium and then the media area. She was just finishing her speech and Gore was coming up.

It was a very poor showing for a college campus which is 70% Hispanic and 17% Black. Very poor indeed.

So strange that she is polling how they claim, but no one shows for a looksie.

Police specifically responded to claims by the woman -- who said she remained clothed through the alleged encounter -- that she had noticed her black slacks had "stains" on them.

Police said they did not collect her attire because they believed it would not provide evidence.

"At this point, the Police Bureau does not consider this an ongoing investigation unless new evidence is received in this case," Wednesday's police statement said.

And there were other claims which seemed equally questionable.

A masseuse has accused Al Gore, the former US vice president, of sexually assaulting her at an Oregon hotel during a global warming lecture tour in 2006.

The unidentified 54-year-old woman gave police a detailed account of her claims that Mr Gore groped and kissed her in an aggressive attempt to have sex during a night-time appointment in his suite.

However, the police concluded that there was insufficient evidence to press charges.

The woman, who recalled telling Mr Gore he was behaving like a “crazed sex poodle”, claims he pinned her to his bed and forcibly French kissed her.

Mr Gore, 62, was staying in an expensive hotel in Portland in October while delivering a speech about climate change in October of that year had registered as “Mr Stone”.

He allegedly asked the hotel to call the massage therapist to his suite, complaining to her during the $540 session about the physical rigours of his heavy travel schedule.

No, not Cavuto’s show. I just watched the local wrap-up of the event. About 1/3 of the broadcast was about the Trump supporters-disrupters inside and outside the event. Which is good because Clinton will be apprehensive about where they can hold a rally in So Flo.

She can’t even fill 1/4 of a high school gym or college auditorium. It’s a problem for her. I bet the next venue will be a AA Church.

Outside, there were a few dozen Trump supporters. Lots of hillary for Prison signs, Women for Trump, Latinos for Trump and ‘Most Wanted -Clinton Rapist’ posters. And a good size group of AA - in white t-shirts Blacks for Trump.

The accuser, after contacting police in late 2006, subsequently cancelled three interviews with detectives and said she did not want the investigation to proceed.

However, she contacted them again in January 2009 and gave a detailed statement.

A spokesman for Mr Gore, who announced his separation from his wife, Tipper, on June 1, said he had no comment.

In her statement, made public by police, the masseuse said she arrived at the St Lucia Hotel’s VIP suite to find Mr Gore drinking beer.

He greeted her with a hug and told her to call him “Al”, she told police.

However, the nearly three-hour therapy session soon went sour after Mr Gore angrily insisted she massage him around his groin and then pounced on her, she claimed.

“He pleaded, groped me, grabbed me, engulfed me in embrace, tongue kissed me, massaged me, grabbed my breasts,” she told detectives.

She said she feared he might rape her as he “flipped me flat on my back and threw his whole body face down over atop me, pinning me down and outweighing me by quite a bit”.

The woman said Mr Gore provided a “dramatic display of violent temper as well as [an] extremely dictatorial, commanding attitude besides his smiley, global warning concern persona”.

Having squirmed out of his grasp, she fled his suite. She claimed she later found stains on the front of her trousers and kept them uncleaned as evidence, believing they were his body fluids.

The masseuse told police she had not immediately called them as “I feared being made into a public spectacle and my reputation being destroyed”. ...”

Although the anti-Hillary disrupters do highlight her hypocrisy on the women’s issues, I think they should cease. Let’s leave the disruptions to Hillary’s people; anything similar from the Trump side will be treated differently, as “fascism” or whatever. I don’t think Trump particularly wants his people disrupting Hillary’s rallies, although recent developments might have changed his mind.
