He’s joking.....he’s gonna write in himself.
The rest of America doesn’t give a damn what you do, McStain.
Trump won the Arizona primary with 47% of the vote in a 14 person race, but once again John McCain pisses on the will of the people.
I agree a decade in DC is long enough!
Go home and experience your governing genius!
Since we can likely never get rid of career politicians I propose:
1. Two terms in the Senate (12 years), you must sit out one term before you can go back. Then the cycle begins again.
2. Five terms in the House (10 years), you must sit out three terms (6 years) before you can return. Then the cycle repeats.
If the “career politician” feels “the people” can not do without him. Go home run for mayor, county commissioner, or governor! Maybe even - “Dare I say it!” - “Yes say it!”. Get a job in the private sector! Who knows “career politician” you might learn something!
I cast one non-valid write-in vote before I knew I better: in 2004, Bush was running unopposed for re-nomination, so I wrote in Tom Tancredo. After I learned the non-valid write-in votes get tossed, the only write-ins I cast these days are for legally binding write-ins like Randy Stufflebeam for Governor in 2010.
A couple of GOP congressmen are on the NeverTrump bandwagon and announcing they are casting non-valid write-in votes, probably because the third party candidates they CAN cast votes for all suck. Otherwise, a handful of NeverTrumpers have said they’re voting for Gary Johnson (Glenn Beck says he’s voting for Castle, but he’s not an elected official) and the rest simply didn’t about how they’ll vote.
As for the rest, here’s the tally I have so far:
Kelly Ayotte (writing-in Mike Pence)
Cory Gardner (writing-in Mike Pence)
Mark Kirk (writing-in Colin Powell)
Dan Sullivan (writing-in Mike Pence)
Jaime Herrera Beutler (writing-in Paul Ryan)
Frank LoBiondo (writing-in Mike Pence)
David Durenberger, Minnesota (endorsed Hillary Clinton)
Slade Gorton, Washington (endorsed Evan McMullin)
Gordon J. Humphrey (endorsed Hillary Clinton)
John Warner(endorsed Hillary Clinton)
Scott Rigell (endorsed Gary Johnson)
Sherwood Boehlert (endorsed Hillary Clinton)
Tom Campbell (endorsed Gary Johnson)
Jim Kolbe (endorsed Gary Johnson)
Connie Morella, Maryland (endorsed Hillary Clinton)
Claudine Schneider (endorsed Hillary Clinton)
Chris Shays (endorsed Hillary Clinton)
Dick Zimmer (endorsed Gary Johnson)
Shays, Morella, Boehlert don’t surprise me at all. They routinely support RATs and should have all admitted they were Democrats years ago instead of keeping up this ‘moderate Republican’ facade. Warner doesn’t surprise me much either, but Gordon Humphrey seems to have lost his mind if he’s backing the Hilderbeast.
Nyahh, nyahh nyahh nyahh nyashhhhhhhhh, John McCain.
Nyahh, nyahh nyahh nyahh nyashhhhhhhhh, Lindsay Graham.
