The poll, conducted on Saturday and Sunday but before the second presidential debate, shows Clinton with 46 percent support among likely voters in a four-way matchup, compared to 35 percent for Trump.
Clinton up by 11 points in 4 way race, up 14 in 2 way race.

That is the first problem with this poll. This close to an election, they should be polling LV.

Actually this may be good pre-debate news. Lets see how they present Clinton’s fall AFTER the debate. I bet they first merge it with the pre-debate to bury it, hoping it is only a fleeting Trump rebound.
If this is the NBC/WSJ poll, it’s 500 registered voters nationally , right after the tape leak, before end debate... if so.. it’s beyond laughable...
A lot of undecideds or 3rd party in this poll, it seems.
Looking at the internals, Trump’s negatives have not changed and are effectively the same as they’ve been for the last six months. Based on that, it seems to me that his ‘drop’ is likely due to a shift in the partisan breakdown of the poll. Not that anyone is surprised.

NBC no longer offers “news”. Nor do they employ “journalists”. They may have some Journ O Listers, however.

When Rasmussen had Donald Trump down seven earlier today, you knew NBC or Monmouth wasn’t too far behind with their ‘shock’ poll and breathless headline of “Trump now down double digits after the tape!!1”.
This is criminal fraud. I’m deadly serious.
