The Democrats are in mega-panic mode

Why did senior Clinton campaign officials order their dirty tricks team to release the Trump tape this past Friday instead of the Friday before Election Day?

Dr. Lifson answers:

The leak of an old hot mic recording of a private conversation between a TV host and Trump probably was originally scheduled for the Friday before Election Day. But the Wikileaks revelations about Hillary could not be allowed to dominate the weekend pre-debate chatter.

An alternative explanation: The Clinton campaign believes that waiting to release the tape until the Friday before Election Day would be too late. The campaign believes that Trump stands a good chance of winning the remaining two debates, would build tremendous momentum, and would be virtually unstoppable. Releasing the tape so late would also smack of desperation and might be counterproductive, encouraging Trump supporters to turn out in even greater numbers.

The Clinton campaign calculated that releasing the tape a month ahead of time would have several advantages:

"The town hall format for Sunday's debate is likely to tire her out"

This belief should be forgotten ASAP. Modern drugs can keep her up and running for the duration of a 'debate' with ease. Maybe focus on the very few public meetings she attends, but the MSM is covering for that and is hiding it from voters. The only place to beat her is when she is in the public view - with winning arguments.

The attack would have been more effective as a counterattack when Trump brings Clinton victims to the debate, which he refrained from doing the 1st time.

Now, Trump can counterattack. It is the way he operates best.

Yes, that public vs. private position B.s. needs massive exposure !!!! That is Shrillary speak for saying she is a tremendous fraud who LIES to the public about her beliefs and policies. This issue needs to be hammered by Trump and surrogates constantly for the rest of the campaign.

But short of that, or nature running its course, or the likes of Ginsberg retiring out of pique, the number of justices is set by Congress.

Although if a favorable arrangement exists with 3-6 justices, the constitution does not mandate that the president nominate - using the same logic the Senate uses to avoid an up or down vote. The Senate claims it is not required to vote on any nominee, and can effectively depopulate SCOUTS by their inaction, too.

Idiots didnt take Romneys lesson to heart... that was months ago now there are far more supporters for Trump and Against the establishment. The GOP played their last card.... and Trump is going to go all in.

It opened the door for Trump to attack by asking her why she doesn’t have the decency to apologize for actual damage she’s done to rape victims - and mention the 12-year-old girl by name along with Juanita, Gennifer Flowers and others....and maybe have a few in the audience this afternoon.

Wikileaks is bull hockey. Don't hang your hat on that one. Personally, I don't think they have anything -- at least nothing the is so devastating the press can't ignore it. Assange played us. We need to focus on what's real and what we can do to affect this election.

I saw it, but for whatever lame reason, misunderstood or misinterpreted the paragraph. I see it now. "Elimination" as in "assassination."

1) Nothing is “private” when you are talking to ACCESS HOLLYWOOD in front of not 1, but dozens of mikes and cameras.

2) There are many ACCESS HOLLYWOOD type tapes available to Clinton. It is possible we will see new tapes popping up everytime wikileaks needs to be Trumped. In the US sex Trumps everything else.

This!

The left always remembers the endgame. They know that there is only one leader. They know any replacement leader will be in a weakened position if they jettison their current standard bearer. So the left ALWAYS chooses to unify and to support and to fight back. That is why Bill Clinton survived the impeachment. Do you remember the unanimous support from democrats, even as the claimed to be personally disgusted? Do you remember the unanimous support from leftist women's groups - even to the extent of justifying one free grope?

Elected Republicans don't have the stomach for the fight, that's why Trump is the nominee. But there is likely more to this democrat character assault on Trump. Remember back when Herman Cain ran, democrats produced women who accused him of sexual misconduct. I fully expect the next step in this program, after the debate, will be a week-long appearance of women making allegations, one or two daily. This is the core of their election strategy. They are only concerned about driving angry, irrational vajayjays to the polls. The Press is all-in with the assist.

Sometimes it is but the real culprit is auto correct. The wrong words are not misspelled and can easily be overlooked because the spell checker does not mark bad grammar.

Most have learned to decipher the intent and chuckle, others get all bent out of shape for no reason other than a sense of personal superiority.

‘THATS why trump MUST GO on the offense now, today!!!! Bombard everything they have against the beast and I know they have tons of crap in their closet!!! Trump needs to make himself immune to all the dirty crap they are still gonna throw against him from years ago ...it will just slide off!”

I agree with every word. The old playbook is when a Repub or conservative gets blasted this hard they apologize and give up or resign, then just fade away.

This is not Trump. He’s not played by their rules since day one, and this bothers the hell out of them. I think that’s why they have all gotten together (MSM, Clintons, GOPe, Uniparty, Wall Street, collectively known as The Establishment) to try and crucify Trump in one huge unified blow such as this. They are practically out of ammunition, especially since the best they can do is 11 years old when he was a democrat.

If Trump hits back hard now, the only thing for the Establishment to do is go pure banana republic (as in Luis Carlos Galan, Columbia for example) and take him out. Which I think will bring on CWII if they have the brass ones to do it.
