Why Trump’s “Locker Room Banter” Doesn’t Matter
Common Sense Evaluation ^

Posted on 10/08/2016 8:07:50 AM PDT by gaggs

All that matters is “America”, our country.

Clinton’s political agenda has not and will not work — and the top 10 most impoverished cities in America can attest to the failed policy found in the Democrat platform.

Trump, on the other hand, represents the good, the bad, and the ugly — all in one package. He’s got policy that works (strong borders, tax-cuts across the board, and the political will to simply say “No”), but he comes with the politically-incorrect downfalls of having led a career in the entertainment industry.

Real Christians like Dr.Dobson, Tony Perkins and Ralph Reid don’t much care, they are much more interested in Trumps opinions on life, religious freedom and who he will put on the SCOTUS.

But A-holes like pip-squeek Ryan use this to bash a man who is his better.

Well, his comments are distasteful but not something that I wouldn’t expect.

Many men especially many wealthy men talk and act like this. They like to brag. Unfortunately, they are right, there are many women who will throw themselves at a rich man. (So will men but in a different way. Men will be obsequious to a wealthy man to curry favor).

It looks bad on both parties. However, I’ve seen enough of this type of thing to think it is pretty universal among rich and/or powerful men. It’s disappointing to be sure, but it seems to be human nature.

Sigh.

It’s like they are paying minimum wage to a bunch of slackers to go through EVERY recording EVER made of Trump to find something. That is incredibly desperate. LOL.

men don’t have to be rich and powerful, many talk like that at times just like many women do..its not to my liking but it doesn’t shock me or cause me to change my vote.
its reality that people are human and are not saints.

if we had tapes of what hillary and bill said at times I’m sure they would be outrageously worse than this.

Here is the national security problem ... and this applies to all men (and many women too). Men who are susceptible to women sexually often talk.

Ever read history of spying? It’s chock full of men who were taken in by beautiful women and then “talked” when they shouldn’t.

I’m not saying Trump would do this. We can’t know that. But there is enough evidence out there that this is a pretty common occurrence.

For example, what if Monica Lewinsky was a Russian plant? that sort of thing.

The thing is, it would be hard to find a candidate that is not susceptible to being “buttered up” as my grandmother would say. Men and women both can fall prey to flattery.

There are always going to be women who throw themselves and rich and/or powerful men. Some of them might have motives that could be a national security risk.

See David Petraeus for just one of probably millions of examples. It’s common. Our own CIA and NSA have set up “honey trap” operations (as have other countries) that worked very well. So we know these things do happen. If they did not work, people would not go to the trouble of setting up such stings.

Women in general don’t really talk like that in real life. They talk like that on tv because their dialogue is written by gay men. Women on tv talk like gay men. Gay men don’t really know a lot about women in general.

He’s totally gross and depraved. Still better than Clinton. Trump said he couldn’t get anywhere with the woman. When she wasn’t willing to have sex with him, he didn’t have sex with her.

When women weren’t willing to have sex with Bill Clinton, he raped them.

I agree.
However, it is my experience that men who have (or perceive that they have) bit more money and power over others like to brag about it ... even if it only slightly more money and/or power over someone.

For example, I was recently at a family event where one of my relatives who has done well for himself (but not THAT much better than others in the family) was bragging to some members who don’t have quite as much money as he does. He said something like “Maybe you don’t realize it but I’m a big deal” ... meaning that he has an important and well paid position in a company. He’s not even the owner! But he wanted to make sure everyone knew (in case they didn’t) that he is pretty high up in the food chain at his company. The thing is, he did not do this in front of one person who is wealthier than he is and has his own company. He waited until that person was gone.

I personally find people like that weak minded. But they are everywhere ... just everywhere. I run into people like this all the time. Enough to say that it is human nature. And not just men. Women like to brag and lord it over others if they can as well.

When I first heard about this, there was a facepalm moment as I thought this just happened. Then I learned it was 11 freaking years ago. Yeah, it is vulgar talk, some of which I used in my early years and nothing different from what I heard when in all-male company - and a few times in mixed.

For all those who are shocked, shocked I tell you, consider the alternative: obama v 2.0 - and on steroids.

I’ll use the same argument I used when I backed Hayworth against McCain - it doesn’t matter if the guy is caught doing funny things with farm animals behind the barn, for the opposition is SO much worse, I’ll turn a blind eye towards any indiscretion.

Unfortunately, there are women who talk like this because they think it is cool and makes them look like a strong woman. I think they get the idea from TV though. So you are probably right about the origins.

“Confident, brash alpha males talk like that! Also, they get all the women they want. Reality. Fact of life.”

Exactly. The only so-called “men” that claim they haven’t are liars or total sissified cupcakes that were ever afraid to. Bunch of chronic masturbators.

No, but it plays into the hands of the media and might sway the women vote, which is the largest voting block btw.

When I told myself that it didn’t matter, it was because I know there are bigger and much uglier fish to fry. I don’t think it has to be any more complicated or deeper than that.
