The 11th Annual TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot is underway! Once again we are celebrating the memory of an amazing man, and carrying on a tradition he started.
As always, it is great to visit with old friends and meet new ones.
Eventually pictures will be posted to this thread.
That, my friend, is a good song.
Really enjoyed meeting you both and hope we manage to meet again at some future shoot. God bless and God speed.
Ditto, Wneighbor! Such a good time, and we do hope to be there again to see you. God bless you!
You’re the one who is beautiful! And so much fun! I hope you and your hubby can come back next year. Bigger and better....every. single. year. :)
That is so true. Even my youngest daughter has worked her way up to a very good career in the oil business. All by hard work. She has kept her company's portfolio in the black (barely) during this last oil downturn by seeing it coming and diversifying into agriculture. It's the way Texas runs and I thank God we have it.
Do you need me to go grab something at the lodge? This bin you mention?
Hate hearing how y’all were stuck so long. Spent 3 years making monthly runs to MD Anderson with my uncle. Some days that traffic was enuf for me to want a good hospital room with padded walls.
Glad all seem to be home safe.
Loved seeing you as well. And thank you again for all the good music you post.
Thank you for the pics!! Love them :)
You’re welcome! Glad you sneak in there to listen! :) I love doing it and love knowing someone is listening!
Me too. They treated us like actual responsible adults! How refreshing! :)
Great pic!
The deplorable Bonnie and Clyde :)
Your gun was sweet—the one I shot. Keith liked that other one, too.
They not only left us alone, did you talk to those folks? They’re deplorable! I’m glad to have met them right in our back yard.
Next year! :-) Thanks very much, Luvvy!
Happy to keep the clowns off you anytime, darlin’.
I’m borrowing your photos to share with our kids up in Maine so they know what their deplorable dad does on a rare weekend off work :)
Hope y’all had a safe trip home. Was nice to meet your guest. Very sweet lady. This event should be more like a week to allow more time to get to know folks.
ION - My grandaughter in boot camp got to make her first call home today. She called Myranda. All well. Myranda said she sounded super confident and happy while being terribly homesick for the family. We have 3 motorhomes plus more of family going down for graduation in less than a month now tho.
Not forgetting what i told you i put on my daily prayer list. Love to all urs.
Thanks for the pics, looks like the usual good time:-) I compensated for missing Charlie’s excellent BBQ by going to the local BBQ emporium where I had a 1/2 chicken dinner, yum! But not as good as Charlie’s brisket, of course.
I was really bummed at missing this years TCMS but that’s life:-(
BTW I got the new kitchen ceiling painted this morning so the kitchen project is about 95% done on my end. I have to make some custom trim pieces and maybe a few shelves but after tonights cleanup the kitchen will be back in use.
Off to work I go, on danged nights for the next week or two. Best regards to all y’all
