Oh boy....Maddi time. Charlie and Maddi together is like a real live show for G-Pa.
Anything for Grampa Fix-It?
LOTS of planes to get to safety til Matt is gone!
What a sight to see.....100 fighters arriving.
Sleep tight, beachy!!!
Are you safe from Hurricane Matt?
Good evening, radu...hope you are feeling better, up to snuff.
It was 32 this morning.
You need to be here....everyone needs to be here!
Ok...nighty-night, Early Bird!See ya in the morning...maybe.
Howdy, Kathy.
Feeling back to normal. Just had that one punky day Saturday, for whatever reason.
Ooo, BRRR!! Too cold! Maybe y’all will have a real winter this year. Last winter was pretty mild up there.
It got up to 90 degrees here this afternoon. There was a stiff breeze, plus it’s bone dry, so it didn’t feel that hot.
Glad we haven’t gotten too chilly yet. The county GOP had an outdoor shindig this evening for our “R” candidates with lots of good food, beverages, live music, and a nice bonfire. The weather was perfect for it and there was a good crowd. Our US congressman was there as well as our state representative and state senator, along with several county commissioners. I left the HQ an hour early in order to get the critters fed and head over there. The sun was just about to set when I left and the temp settled to a comfy level.
Gotta enjoy it while we can. It won’t be long before we have 32 degrees like y’all. EEK!
Been watching the Weather Channel since I go home. Lots of prayers going for the people in FL tonight. It’s pretty rough.
Hi Kathy. Work in Charlotte is overwhelming. Every company is fearing the storm of “Matthew” and we are all on standby.
Our backlog will be severe. I wanted to stay home and watch the TN TX A&M game plus the race here in Concord.
Probably won’t happen. Oh Well.
This evening has been quiet....nice!
But I keep falling asleep. I may go to bed when I get her settled...and STOP reading FR like I’ve done every night. I am sleep deprived. LOL!
Now she insists that my sister-in-law, in Hamilton, GA, could be in trouble from Matthew. Now I have to go looking...
YAY for a quiet night! Long overdue.
Kind of hard to stop reading FR, isn’t it? It’s addictive. LOL! I didn’t get on the computer at all today until I got home from the shindig and have been trying to catch up on emails and on the news at FR ever since while watching the hurricane coverage.
Looking it up on Google Maps, Hamilton is on the west side of GA and far enough north she shouldn’t have much trouble. It’ll be a bit windy there and maybe a little wet but she should be fine. Hope you can convince your mom of that and that you’ll be able to sleep well too.
Me and Annette were at Thomas final junior high football game tonight
And she was worried about y’all
You’re welcome here if u need!
Wade would be thrilled
His hero in da house
((HUGS))Good morning, MEG. How's it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How’s it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
Thanks....I told her they were on the west side, but...
I’ll try again in the morning...and I’ve sent an email.
Another nap...I’m gone. My brain can’t seem to make my fingers type the right stuff.
GO TO BED!!! LOL!
She should be just fine. So far the eye of the storm is staying out over the ocean, not tracking westward, so she might not get more than a little wind. The cold front that’s closing in on us will keep the storm from moving westward very much and that’s a plus. Still a mighty rough night for the people along the coast, though, and it will be rough for those along the GA and Carolina coasts the next couple of days.
Get a good night’s sleep and I hope you have an email from your SIL saying all’s well when you wake up.
This morning’s new storm track puts it further offshore. Max winds at the mooring on the river should be no more than 75, I think we’re okay for that. Thanks though!
