Donald Trump is devouring Fox News
The Washington Post ^ | 10/6/2016 | Erik Wemple

Posted on 10/06/2016 2:33:35 PM PDT by tekrat

Any news outlet wishing to provide solid and comprehensive coverage of the 2016 presidential campaign cannot avoid mentioning Sean Hannity's promotion of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. "Hannity," which airs in the prime-time lineup of Fox News, is influential among conservatives and enjoys a substantial cable news audience, and its more interesting moments have a long tail on the Internet. In violation of any journalistic principle, Hannity has done a video promotion for Trump, hosted him for softball interviews too numerous to recount and even provided advice to the campaign.

BuzzFeed, the New York Times, The Washington Post and the rest of the field have reported extensively on this dynamic.

And last night, another important source of campaign news — Megyn Kelly’s own prime-time show on Fox News — covered it as well. “Donald Trump, with all due respect to my friend at 10:00, will go on ‘Hannity’ and pretty much only ‘Hannity’ and will not venture out to the unsafe spaces these days,” said the host in a segment with Stuart Stevens, a strategist who worked on the Mitt Romney campaign. Nor were those remarks an out-of-the-blue, impolitic slam on a colleague. Just before uttering that point, Kelly ripped into Hillary Clinton for pursuing a similar self-sheltering policy: “Now they’re both in their own version of a presidential protection program … They’ve designed her situation so she’s not in a place where she’s feels uncomfortable … which is why she sat for a half an hour with Mary J. Blige the singer, which is why she did Entertainment Tonight this evening, which is why we just found out that when she went on the ‘Steve Harvey’ show, she had every single question given to her in writing in advance and then she feigned surprise as the questions were asked.”

This nothing like what CNN (often called the Clinton News Network) does. And then you have MSNBC which puts both FoxNews and CNN to shame for it's bias.

Hannity is the only one on Fox supporting Trump.
The rest of them are Cheap Labor Express propagandists doing their best to undermine him.

Then Hillary is devouring the New York Times,
although it is more of a mutual reach-around.

Megyn Kelly is irate that Trump will only go on the Hannity show and O’Reilly. Hey Megyn, why don’t you get your buddy Hillary on your show? Hahahaha

LOL. The astounding bias of the Post is on full display in this article. They neglected to mention that Hillary refuses ALL Fox interviews for lack of a safe place for her imperious majesty.

Fox & Friends is very friendly to The Donald (especially the weekend edition). The six o’clock news - which I used to watch religiously - has turned into a disgusting advert for Hillary. Bret Brier - aka Jerry Mathers in a girdle - and his crew loathe Trump.

I confess.
I have been watching Hannity.
It’s my fault.

I’ve heard that MeGyn has been relentlessly bashing Trump on her show (based on other FReeper comments I’ve seen - I don’t watch Faux News anymore).

Why go into a Star Chamber? MeGyn is a member of the Trained Women’s Assault Team anyways...

Also, Hannity is not “reporting news” as is being suggested in the article.

And Clinton is shamelessly promoted and handled with kid gloves on CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN etc. etc. etc.

Trump is willing to be interviewed by Sean Hannity and Hillary Clinton is scared to go on Hannity.

I recently retired, so I don’t get up early enough to catch them. ;)

When I was working, I had to be at work, so I haven’t really ever seen much of them.
