Examination of convictions is highly misleading. Some of these "non-violent" perps probably resorted to plea deals for lesser crimes. I'd like to see what the original arrest reports had to say.
Around here, those getting 30+ years for drugs always, always, always have felony gun charges either in their past or with the most recent arrest.
And Da Judges hand down the same sentences for white trash meth heads.
But I’d wager that Obama isn’t releasing ANY caucasians

With congressional sentencing guidelines the Feds can’t make deals like you’re alluding to baring a cooperating defendant thru a 5k-1 departure at sentencing or Rule 35 post sentencing if incarcerated defendant decides to fold
Been that way 30 years next year but folks still think it’s like a Law and Order episode
Not in the Feds it ain’t
I had several friends do almost 30 years for large scale marijuana smuggling with zero violence on their “jacket”
I hope that was enough for your average Freepers prisonlust
It’s GD ridiculous in my opinion
I applaud anyone terminates a nonviolent sentence after 10 calendars
The problem with cut loose is overwhelmed state courts inundated with mostly tropical African descended predatory crime
There you have a point
Average state murder charge prisoner in Mississippi on a life bit time served was 8 years
Less for splittails
Crazy I agree
