Lady just said K came off like a crazy person.

Black guy paid for by Clinton.

OK it’s finally over so I wandered back over here to FR.

Fox almost immediately declaring Pence the winner. and Kaine the whiner. OK not really...

Yes, Trump has a strong sense of fair play...he would change the way debates are done. It's long past time - - this responsibility is too important to leave to a biased tacky press.

(That said, this young woman made a good attempt to be fair... but she's the exception. Most members of the press are biased jerks. )

Kaine interupted a lot, even Chris Matthews has admitted it, but it will be forgotten in a day or two.

I don’t know who’s winning as I had to turn it off. Kaine and the moderator are a worldwide disgrace and wanted some fight out of Pence.

Anyway, I hope you’re right. I have been waiting since 1988 for a US President with half the intelligence, strength, conservatism, and grace of Ronald Reagan. I’m so tired of losing and/or settling for weaklings.

Used car salesman vs. a principled, decent man.

In a different America that would mean something, in a Kardashian brain-washed society...who knows.

Kaine is such an asshole. He interrupted Pence at least 17 times. Of course, the CBS moderator did nothing to stop him. Pence intelligently explained the positions of Trump-Pence, when Kaine would STFU.

Ultimately though, this debate will likely have little effect on people's opinions of Trump or Clinton. People vote for the President, with the VP being an appendage thereto.

Exactly. Quite scary to think of K in that position.

Pence won that going away. Professional, humble, endearing.

It’s not about who won the debate... it’s clear Pence won... kaine was an assholle throughout.. it’s about whether Pence was able to defend the slanderous charges against Trump effectively, and take the battle to Hillary... that should be the barometer here. I truly think he failed at that..

yup, ridiculous number of interruptions and talk-overs by Kaine, and the moderator did nothing.

Pence could have countered it better, though, at least by pointing out that Kaine was too immature to allow a respectful dialogue. Kaine had to constantly interrupt because he was afraid to hear a countering viewpoint.

For the life of me, I can’t understand why the Republicans agree to these moderators. I just don’t get it.

Not quite sure I agree. Plain had tremendous influence on McCaine’s campaign.

Totally agree. Pence won the debate hands down. Even the spinmeisters can’t put it any other way.
