On July 22 Hillary Clinton announced Tim Kaine as her running mate. Kaine is a Democrat Senator from Virginia who supports a ban on 15-round “clips” and “assault weapons,” and who wants to enact a law to hold gun dealers liable for the misuse of firearms.
During the June 26 airing of Meet the Press, Kaine told Chuck Todd that he voted for an “assault weapons” ban before and "would likely vote for it again." But he stressed that he believes “limitations on the size of magazines and ammunition clips” is the first step to take.
Todd asked Kaine if he believes the sale of AR-15 rifles ought to be illegal, and Kaine offered no direct answer, Instead, he suggested the problem with banning certain rifles is that the ban can be circumvented.

They think any weapon that looks “scary” is an “assault weapon”...
Make us all felons for possessing them? California is proposing some funny stuff along those lines. (I believe Barrett pulled out of the state because it outlawed .50 cal and won’t support existing rifles in the state.)
I’m not sure he? is a ‘guy’.

Kaine is certainly no mental giant, wonder if he wants to enact a law to hold rope manufacturers liable for the misuse of rope.

Well, we need to be cautious, the newer LED lighting can expose these hangees to dangerous levels of light radiation.

I am not giving anything up, or handing anything in. If the criminals in power make unconstitutional laws then THEY are the criminals, and they need to be hanged from the lamp posts.
There is a reason why the second amendment is right after the 1st... and BOTH are in jeopardy.
This country and our constitution are in serious crisis. God help us.
They never go the whole distance do they.
One 30 round mag vs two 15 round mags. What’s the difference? TO an experienced operator, a couple fo seconds to drop the 15 and load another and pull the charging handle. Presto, ready to fire.
What they really want is no firearms at all. This is just incrementalism.
So they go to semi-automatic (no machine guns), then magazine restrictions, then action requirements, then no cartridge style, to no firearms, then no bows or crossbows. Then no knives with sharp points, then no blades with a sharp edge, then no sling shots, to where even possession of a rock of a certain size is considered possession of a projectile.

You did, in the form of a s***load of organizational detail, operational planning, logistics, resources, manpower, and the sheer political will to carry out this fascistic notion of seizing magazines. Ain’t gonna happen; not enough flying monkeys.
Gungrabbers are not omnipotent and we’re not in Australia. Every time there is a mass shooting Obama growls and snaps, but absolutely nothing has happened.
Off topic, but have you noticed the Senate & House races have dropped clear off the news cycle? Could only mean the MSM thinks Democrats will not be able to attain majority control in Congress.
