SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Protests erupted at a South Los Angeles intersection Sunday night not far from where a teenager died in an officer-involved shooting after police say he fled from a suspected stolen vehicle.

Shortly before 10 p.m., authorities issued a citywide tactical alert and asked protesters standing at the intersection of Western Avenue and 108th Street to disperse or they would be arrested. As the evening went on, at least four people were taken into custody. The alert was called off around midnight.

Again with the “protests” euphemism.

Can I shoot a BLM-er and call it “reasearch dissection?”

It would be interesting to just arrest them all and throw them in a very large single room building (like a school gym) and hold for processing the next day. And charge each and every one of them with a crime, punishable by a fine of a couple hundred bucks.

“Police said Saturday they found a handgun at the scene, but did not release further details on the shooting. Activists are asking for a transparent and quick investigation, and they want the officers who fired their weapons to be named.”

The guy was just another gun thug from your shithole community. The cops were dressed in blue and all look like pigs to you, so we won’t bother to identify them. Good luck getting an answer to your next call for help.

These hoods should not be called “teenagers,” which invokes images of goofy and temporarily out-of-control,but basically harmless, young people.

Police officers also moved in to the front of the residence where people held a vigil for Snell around 5 p.m.

I have yet to see a vigil for a law-abiding citizen since all this BLM insanity started. Seems every last one of these guys has a long and violent rap sheet. These are the "martyrs" of the BLM crowd.

DID you know that Damian ‘Football’ Williams got a 10 year sentence, served about 4 and is NOW doing 30-Life for a homicide.

Be ‘careful’ bringing up Denny, ‘they’ will claim they beat some sense into him, seeing as he ‘forgave’ and basically apologized for being at the scene of his result of ‘wilding’.

Note well the multi-facets of what is going on, in relation to key issues in this election:

A. Trump stands with the Police, which means improved safety for law abiding citizens in minority neighborhoods. Hillary stands with the agitators against the Police, which means more crime, fear & problems in those neighborhoods.

B. More Police action, and safer conditions in minority neighborhoods, means more legal activity; more & better business conditions, and hence more employment opportunities in those neighborhoods, for unemployed youth.

C. Improved employment in safer communities will encourage youth to make good personal decisions--take personal responsibility, rather than adopt a grievance mentality--and, in turn, reduce the overall crime rate.

Thus Trump policies will obviously deliver all sorts of benefits; while Hillary's policies will only further aggravate existing problems. Is there anybody who cannot understand this?

Isn’t this the armed 14 year old kid that shot at a police officer?

I don’t know why it irks me that an 18 year old adult is referred to as a teenager. I know technically it is true but it conjures up an image of a young teen of around 16 years of age or even younger. I am sure this is deliberate by the press to make us think of a poor innocent school boy and not a young man who may already have a less than stellar record.

Was the paper tag the only reason the police thought the vehicle was stolen? That’s pretty flimsy.

I am a reservation agent for taxi companies. We operate from the east coast to the west coast.

Few things are a bigger stab to my gut when talking to ppl that live in these areas, are the law-abiding, decent folks trying to snag a cab ride to work. Our drivers, of all races, creeds, genders, etc. do no want to pick up in these areas. Sometimes they call at midnight to reserve a ride at 4:00am to get to work on time, and I cannot guarantee a thing. I can beg, plead, and pester my dispatchers all I want, but they can’t produce a driver out of thin air. Taxi drivers are independent contractors.

The scoundrels that live in these communities, the malcontents, don’t seem to understand they they are the source of 99% of the problems.

It’s why Grandma cannot get a cab to East LA hospital, why your sister can’t get picked up from a Jack in the Box on Imperial, and it’s why your brother can’t get picked up for his good paying job at the pier in San Pedro. It’s also why a senior lady waiting at Piggy’s Restaurant in Compton, was crying on the phone with me waiting to be picked up after a birthday party for her granddaughter, so terrified to be alone out there. Breaking our company rules, I stayed on the phone with her until I knew her ride was there. I informed my supervisors and told them to write me up for a violation.

I hate these bastards who infect these communities with the heat of a thousand suns.

this is low life entertainment now.

Some of the protesters were seen dancing on top of cars, while others drove cars into the middle of the intersection and did multiple donuts before speeding away.

Police said Saturday they found a handgun at the scene, but did not release further details on the shooting.

More enforcement was called racial profiling, disparate sentencing, and harassment. Translation- we really don’t want police except the ones who will lock up our rivals and leave us to do what we want.

You don’t actually think they are going to allow that to happen again?

I believe Tef Poe when he says that when DT is elected there will be riots all over.

We are seeing the collision of cultures, and in the end, only one will remain.
