Asian Metal Found in Alaska Reveals Trade Centuries Before European Contact

A bronze buckle and a cylindrical metal bead found in Alaska are the first hard evidence of trade between Asia and the indigenous peoples of the North American Arctic, centuries before contact with Europeans, archaeologists say.

An analysis of the artifacts has shown that they were smelted in East Asia out of lead, copper, and tin, before finding their way to an indigenous village some 700 years ago.

True, these “finds” may have been carried to Alaska by those making the eventual journey that would populate the Americas.

Read: “Alaska” by James Michner. There is a theory that it took 14,000 years to populate the Americas, using a 600 mile wide “land bridge” that connected Alaska to Asia.

I hate those people who walk around with pants down and boxers showing...My black friend said that it is disgusting (his dad is a doctor, his mom is an accountant, so he is upper middle class) another friend said that boxer showing was a sign from runaways at San Monica that they want sex for $$. (Not sure, but he read it somewhere)

Besides the runestones in Minnesota, the Vikings built a tower in Newport, Rhode Island, too.

#15 Never understood the look. Droopy pants and showing underwear while flashing non nonsensical hand signals.

Good, and we should exclude air bands and hair bands: two things that happened in the 80s that should stay in the 80s.

I have consistently heard/read that the droopy pants look came from prison culture, where “bitches” ready to “give it up” signaled their willingness by wearing the top of their pants in that fashion. One other variation is that it stems from jail, where they take belts away to prevent their use as weapons or for suicides.

Wow...as I wrote, I believe Indians came from Europe and from Asia...

New England has lots of interesting places that the Indians said 'their gods' made. I wonder if a race was here before the Indians...
