The Trump tax issue is really a non-issue

Democrats, aided by the once-great but now fish-wrapper New York Times, continue their "Smear Trump" campaign with the story that Trump lost billions in the 1990s and hence hasn't paid federal taxes for years. (Yawn). Trump's expert tax people followed the laws, which Senator Hillary Clinton could have tried to change, that allowed Trump to avoid taxes. Obviously he didn't break any laws as the IRS hasn't thrown him in the slammer. We have to remember that all of us, Democrats included, try our hardest to lessen our tax burden and we use tax law to do so. Does Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Chris Matthews, Chuck Todd, and even Hillary, pay one thin dime more in taxes than they are legally required to pay? I think not. So, this non-issue serves only as proof that the Democrats are fearful that their email-erasing, private-server, pay-for-play, Benghazi, Clinton Foundation, untruthful candidate may lose the election. By the way, let's see the New York Times investigate those issues. (Don't wait up for it).

Hilliary; “You see Donald Trump isnt as he says he is. He wont release his tax returns and after they were found he isnt as rich as he claims!”

Trump: “I followed the law and noted the losses on those returns as the law requires. Unlike Hilliary Clinton, who violated the law and then lied under oath after violating that law. Her violation of that law equals committing TREASON against the people of the United States of America.”

I don’t give a crap how much or hw little any candidate paid in taxes as long as the money wes earned legally and the amount of taxes was legal. I have to think this is more of an issue for Clinton then Trump!

Exactly. He claimed the deduction as the LAW requires. BTW, the deduction has most likely expired now since it can run for just about 20 years.

BUT, the Times obtained and published it ILLEGALLY and I believe that Trump has found a way to pay for his entire campaign.

Democrats didn't care when numerous liberals (who called for higher taxes) broke the law and didn't pay taxes.

Now, they care when someone (who is calling for lower taxes) didn't break the law.

Hillary wasn't a Senator when Trump's 1995 return was filed.

However, Bill was President.

The MSM is all focused on “Trump said this”, and “Trump said that”, yet in the meantime, Hillary is an actual criminal, and won’t face any charges.

Since when are we supposed to elect a President based on gossip, and he said/she said crap?

Of Course it’s not an issue.

The government wants economic activity. It has to incentivize.

This latest distraction is just another overworked, very desperate story that the MSM and the Hildabeast have dredged up. There is no meat in the story except their now felonious criminal behavior in publishing protected private tax information.

1. Trump's 1995 returns don't reveal anything about his taxes in subsequent years.

2. What did Trump pay in state and local taxes, payroll taxes, gaming taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, hotel taxes, and so on?

3. Bill Clinton passed a major tax bill in 1993, and as far as we know Trump's 1995 tax filing complied fully with Clinton's tax policy.
