Neither Captain Picard or Captain Kirk signed. Doesn't that make this a Mutiny?

Beam them all down to the third planet...

A vote for Hillary is a conscious act of intent to destroy America. Either that or you’re too stupid to be voting.

I am gonna choose too stupid to be voting for these character actors.

Star Trek has always offered a positive vision of the future, a vision of hope and optimism, and most importantly, a vision of inclusion, where people of all races are accorded equal respect and dignity, where individual beliefs and lifestyles are respected so long as they pose no threat to others.

What about mohammedums and criminal & diseased illegal aliens who do pose a threat to others? I guess the pleasure of wallowing in their holier-than-thou attitude is more important than reality and the truth.

there was never continuity after TOS.

in the original, wwiii did not happen and was avoided.

the Kahn stuff was limited to a region not the whole planet.

Next generation went poofy liberal with contradictions, voyager was a disaster and is mostly unwatchable.

The performance of the latest movies may need a re re re boot.

There is no coherent philosphy with regard to the Incarnation of Christ the 2nd person of the Trinity. If intelligent life were to be found elsewhere in the universe I think there would be some explanation needed to reconcile the Gospel with that finding. I’ve never detected one. To ignore that necessity seems somewhat neglectfulfor a”philosphy” that objects to things in the real world

"Never has there been a presidential candidate who stands in such complete opposition to the ideals of the Star Trek universe as Donald Trump."

Does Star Trek stand for a candidate who tried to destroy the lives of women who were allegedly violated by her husband, and who laughed about getting a rapist of a 12 year old off with time served?

Does it stand for supporting the party that runs the cities where blacks are gunned down in such large numbers?

That might be what they're voting for, but not me.

Star Trek isn’t real. It’s make believe.

To the actors who signed that letter, it's probably the "realest" thing they've ever done. Pathetic.

Yup, but so is today's progressivism, liberalism.

"Cross the next Star Trec Movie and Chris Pine of my list. Buh Bye."

And once again I cannot join in a boycott because I already swore off the new Trek after the disastrous second movie in the reboot.

I agree B5, clearly the best since it’s storyline was so interconnected. The character development was such that the characters evolved as the story unfolded. Same could have been said about Firefly & Space Above & Beyond, but the TV suits killed both. What I found very interesting about Space Above, etc. was, it was a plausible telling of a Earth future & early star travel. I did find the artificial human storyline irritating but other then that it was very intriguing for the first 5 episodes or so. Then something happened to the writing, the quality fell off a cliff and by the end of the season it devolved into mostly forgettable.

everyone knows it is “just a story”, the issue is these performers trying to represent that these modern myths are somehow left wing supporting when the evidence says otherwise.

It is akin to the union of concerned scientiests during the cold war

or

the communists claiming the bible was a communist manifesto.

And the next time I need script readers to do my thinking, I’ll go right to those Mensa performers in H-wood.
