The best-ranked female chess player in the United States has said she would rather sacrifice her career than submit to demands to wear a hijab at the next world championship.
Nazi Paikidze, the reigning US Women’s Chess Champion, swore to boycott the 2017 contest, which is being held in Iran and will have an enforced Islamic dress code.

I wonder when NOW will issue a statement supporting this lady. They'll probably do that the day after never. Islamism trumps feminism every time. Everyone from the NCAA to (not so) GLAAD is going bat crap crazy over a bill in North Carolina designed to protect our young girls from deviant pedophile males who say that they "feel like a woman" so they can use public women's room. Yet I guarantee nobody in those groups will utter a peep about Iran hosting this tournament while forcing women to adhere to their medieval rules.
