Cetins mother helped to identify him from surveillance camera images released by police. The arrest warrant said Cetin allegedly used a Ruger 10-22 that had a 25-round magazine.

Probably using cop killer bullets /s
Nice little gun sort of the gold standard in popular 22 semiauto. Sad to see it used in crime.
“Shriek!” “Military Assault Rifle!” “NRA!” “Ban Guns!” “Trump is Hitlar!” “Shriek!”
Oh and BTW, bring more rag-heads over by the boatload and give ‘em welfare and lots of free stuff and make these poor working slobs in America pay for it.
Damn, I only have a couple of standard 10-cap mags for my old 10/22. Gotta get some 25s....
Yeah, I learned on Freerepublic that if I need a .22 rifle, that is the one to get.
Little scary assault weapon. If you are assaulting squirrels.
It wasn’t even an SKS.
Probably using cop killer bullets /s
yeah, if the cop is a squirrel..............
.22LR bullets are underestimated by the majority of people. They consider them just above air gun pellets.
However, I remember going on an OP in the late 60s in Vietnam where they took away our M16s and gave us .22LR pistols with suppressors. They did get the job done though.
Last week, pickup a Ruger American Rimfire in .22LR. It’s the bolt action version of the 10/22 and slightly more accurate.
This one takes three 10-round 10-22 mags. It's called "Alangator Trimag Ruger 10/22 BX-1 Magazine Connector" and runs around $10-$15.
Big headlines to label them powerful, too many, automatic (of course), need small clips in them, etc, etc, etc
7 million produced. I have 2.
Probably more squirrels have been killed by 10/22s than by any .22 rifle ...
(I like the flush-fitting clear 10 round mags!)
You might want to check out the Feather AT-22 with the target barrel and 20rd magazines.
Israeli IDF uses the Ruger 10/22 in urban warfare for sniping. What they do is 1)aim for the knee or 2)the groin or 3)head ... whichever gives them the best shot.
Evil Brown Rifles???
Not competition target guns but they are real good at being what a .22 is supposed to be.
I've got a couple of them and what I'm real happy about-(having just endured the recent multi-year 22lr panic)-is that my guns run on ANY thing I shove in them. I don't care if it's Thunderbolts or Mini-mags, my 10-22's are going to shoot them
I was talking to a friend about this the other day and I truly believe that neither of my 10-22's has ever had a failure to feed, fire or eject.
I don't shoot thousands of round a year with them, but when I use/need one, it's good to go and I'm confident that it's going to shoot whatever I've put in it.
As I said, they may not be the best target rifle out there, but they are a dam fine plinking or small game hunting rifle.
This is the rifle I learned how to shoot with at the age of 7 back in 1965. My grandpa would take me out on the back porch in the morning and taught me how to shoot while he drank his morning coffee. We must have shot hundreds of tree branches, cans, pumpkins and other assorted targets. Once I got proficient he told me he would pay a $5 bounty if I could kill any of the ground hogs that made all the ugly mounds on his property. Never did get one but I sure got my share of squirrels with that thing. Those were the days.
