I think you’ve got it. Trump’s one task at the first debate was to show the world that he’s not a dangerous loon.

He had to let Hillary and Holt needle him to do it. Mission accomplished.

Let’s not do too much pearl clutching over day to day poll results. The enemy is throwing everything they’ve got at him now. Ride it out. Stay the course. We got this.

If your anxiety is, understandably, getting the better of you, get with your state Trump people and jump on the phones.

TRUMP Surges to Lead in 5 Battleground States

This is very good news indeed but is it news? Are these averages reflective of polls done post debate in these battleground states? The headline seems to indicate that they are because it uses the word "surges" but when I read the article it is not clear.

When I watch the video, Henry twice says that we will have to wait for more data in oncoming days to learn the effect of the debate on the polls.

It’s so blatant even children can see through it. Baghdad Bob never had such audacity.

I remember back in 2012 at this time, it looked a little grim, Obama was up 6-10% in most polls and we hung on what Dick Morris had to say. I even was a little delusional as the race looked to get to within the MOE after the first debate and then Romney faded. We are really in this thing and poised for a win, I'm optimistic like I have never been. Next debate Trump goes ba*ls out and 86's the nice guy thing. Try and make her cry Donald. I want to hear things like

"Oh that's rich madam Secretary, you want my tax returns, how does page 14 of my tax return effect in any way the average American. I made money, I was successful, I know you and your evil minions like George Soros love to play this class game but you know we did it your way and you've failed. I am marveled that a person with not just a closet full of skeletons but a whole house could really have the chutzpah to run for President, you're a lying , corrupt, kleptocrat. Why don't you stop making speeches about how to tell other people to live and get an actual job producing something, creating a job and having to make a payroll. Whoops maybe I said something I shouldn't have, will I wind up dead from a suicide gunshot to back of my head? You are a straight up gangster thug in an ugly $1200 paint suit."

I am sure the English-degreed suburban white kitten snowflakes in Long Island and Mountian View would faint at a woman being treated so roughly, but enough would think...now that's an Alpha make I trust with the presidency. She's like that bitchy Lumbergh middle manager (insert female anatomy) that back stabs and whines constantly.

Well, we will have to do as the Christians (and the disciple Paul) did in Roman times.

Blessed are the persecuted. I pray strength for me and all other followers the Jesus Christ.

Christ is in control weather Hillary or Trump is elected.

As I am putting together my ammo order for October, I had this rather chilling thought:

In just a little over a month America may be gone forever.

It's really something to see: the more the globalists, media, Fortune 100 CEO's and others come out against Trump the more he surges in the polls.

Something's up, meaning something's not passing the sniff test for me. Not quite sure what it is yet.

Just goes to show that the debates are not the opinion-making powerhouses they were back in 1960.

Sure, Hillary “won” the debate, in much the same way that the smarmy little know-it-all jerk that nobody liked in high school might have “won” debates.

She has lost OH, she is trying to firewall PA with Phillie & Pittsburgh, it too will fall out her grasp. Next up Michigan, She will loose it as well. Those 2 are another 36 Electoral Votes, that brings DJT to 311 if my math is correct.

It is not out of the question people...

Look at the microspic crowds that show up for her.

What is that, a crowd of little Mexicans?

Yup. She “won” with her charming (*cough*cough*) smile and confident high school debating demeanor. And by the fact that she and the moderator double-teamed against Trump and kept him on the defensive all night. She’s 100% confident and admits that if she wins the presidency, she will raise taxes and spending, confiscate and redistribute the wealth, open our borders, grant amnesty, import millions of muslims, stack the courts with liberal activist judges and generally continue Obama’s mission of transforming America into a third-world Marxist/fascist hell-hole.

This is a “win?” I don’t think so.

This is the RCP average for each state.. reflecting the surges prior to the debate.. as you know, RCP is a lagging indicator. I haven't seen any post-debate polls that support this.

In my view, when there's a huge event- like Hillary's collapse or the debate, polls done prior to that are almost irrelevant.... let's wait and see what the post debate state polls show... so far, not good, though it could be a bump that dissipates... Trump''s tweets don't help... Pence's invisibiltiy doesn't help either

Yes, comment at beginning of video accompanying article at gateway pundit.

Voice (Kilmeade?) says Clinton loses lead in at least one poll. Then it goes to Ed Henry who shows her losing in these 5 states.

There is another thread here on FR about her "abandoning" FL.

This sounds like good news; but, it could make the HRC campaign hysterical --- and, the voter fraud and cheating could be a really big problem.

I was watching Fox Business Channel yesterday, and a guest on one of the shows said that his father summed it up this way: "She probably won the debate; but, he won the argument."

I think that might be right.
