The New York Times, the so-called paper of record, has declared that the all-important swing state of Ohio is no longer an important battleground in the presidential election now that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is winning it.
Trump pulled ahead of Clinton in the Buckeye State in the RealClearPolitics poll average on Sep. 13, and has never looked back. The latest average, as of Sep. 24 prior to the first presidential debate on Sep. 26 has Trump ahead of Clinton by 2%.
Now that Trump is winning the must-win, the Times has revised its view of Ohios importance: After decades as one of Americas most reliable political bellwethers, an inevitable presidential battleground that closely mirrored the mood and makeup of the country, Ohio is suddenly fading in importance this year, writes Jonathan Martin, who notes that Clinton has basically conceded the state.

Don’t think Hillary wants to win this election.
That won’t happen. Too much “points” behind solid blue states for it to be that one sided.
+1
CNN knows that its payoff from the State Dept is DOA when Trump becomes President.
What payoff by STATE? Read on
Almost all corporate media are in financial trouble except CNN.
CNN receives programming reimbursement from the U.S. State Department via The Bureau of International Information Programs; the same State Department program that pays Facebook for content. CNN is not as reliant on ad revenue because they get tens of millions from the U.S. State Department.

PA worries me too, I live here. Saw another Clinton sign yesterday...that makes four now, I think...
TRUMP signs are everywhere and many are quite yuge.
Nevertheless, they do bad things in Philly and P’burgh.
The last 13 elections if u win Ohio u win
And since Ohio became a state they’ve only lost 3-4 times
This has to spook Hillary
I guess she hopes Virginia will offset
A new paradigm
I share your concern about DNC not intervening at this point.
I was convinced the first debate was their go/no go decision point.
I believe the Trump margin will be large enough in key states that traditional voting fraud won’t get it done for Hillary.
They may have one other really nasty plan in mind—and frankly I don’t even want to talk about it... :-(
Hillary’s campaign is media propaganda, lousy commercials and pretty much nothing else, nothing at all...the candidate can’t do anything for herself, she has nothing.
Well, Trump is no dummy. Let’s hope he has good people protecting him from the DNC’s plans, A, B and C.
“Chunky porn queens, on the other hand, confirm feminist doctrine. They are more than just a v-jay. They are a v-jay for hire...and that adds shovel ready jobs.”
More like “fleet of dump truck and back hoe ready jobs” :-).
“She may be running for her life. Lots of people have donated money to her over the past 25 years, and are expecting payback.”
You may be right. She has amassed power by selling her inevitability as POTUS. Should she lose, both her and Bill lose every speck of power they have. They’ll be absolute nobodies. Moreover, if the Clinton Foundation does get investigated and its assets are frozen, they won’t have the cash to pay people to do their dirty work. That’ll be the point where people hopefully start talking.
He’s also ahead in Colorado for the first time.........
yes,and what them all, fox included, be pumping this at the same time in synch with each other.
indeed, Wallace will be the worst of them all.
I have to ask, why do you believe this? Not taking you to task, just wanting to understand.
If the media can’t deliver the narrative in powerful enough ways to control things, what’s next?
Either they give up and die, or they find a way to corrupt the process.
I’d suggest Governor Brown of California is leading the way with felon voters.
Ballot machines are probably a risk.
Intimidation at inner city polling places will grow.
(s)this just in, Hillary will win bellweather of Beltway DC(/s)
the media pajama boys will wet their pajamas.
