FWIW, Google Analytics claims they are highly accurate and used by Nate Plastic on 538. Trump with slight increase this week. I believe the narrative from the media this week is to bait Trump into going negative for the next debate by painting him as behind in the polls. He needs to not take that bait. Continue to be presidential, hit a few hanging curves that she will leave, but to not get personal. He really js in a good place, but the media is evil and corrupt. I hate them.

Now we have Google Analytics, the LA Times and Morning Consult picking up a post-debate bump for Trump.

Trump’s campaign manager is a long-time pollster. They’re undoubtedly doing their own polling and won’t react to that on that level.

It’s just the usual Dem-supporting MSM trying to turn the race toward their candidate with biased polls and reporting.

Here is the article - http://ijr.com/2016/09/702044-exclusive-ijr-google-poll-shows-the-victory-in-last-nights-presidential-debate-goes-to-hillary-clinton/

It’s from two days ago (right after the debate), with and all post debate sample.

But NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN say Hildabeast won the debate by like a gazillion percent!

Additionally, the article uses the term “victory” for Clinton. Since Trump went up in this very same poll from the prior week, I wouldn’t quite use that
Word! People clearly thought she had more polished debate skills, but trump showed them he had the temperament for the presidency, thus his numbers increased.

Thanks for pointing that out to Freepers. I believe that it is pretty conventional in Presidential campaigns for the candidates to do their own polling. These days, with the MSM playing their mind-games, it is an absolute necessity.

It is also worth noting that even the Great Nate Silver has stated that there is no way that the MSM's National Polls can show Hillary with a big lead given the much more consistent State Polls showing Trump leading in a large number of Swing States.

Why can’t Trump get personal? Why can’t he call her a rapist enabler on television?

PPP internals:
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2015/PPP_Release_BattlegroundStates_92916.pdf

conducted on behalf of VoteVets Action Fund [Hillary super-pac]

It’s heavily slanted. Be interesting to see if the media treat it like a legit poll.

RCP apparently tosses it into its polling average, just puts a “(D)” after it.

She has the little old lady stigma. Even as she is scum attacking a little old lady personally will cause many to react negatively to the attacker just for the attacking. Its a cultural thing.

Only way to handle people that cannot be attacked personally (little old ladies, handicapped, super charismatic, etc) is to use lots of factual evidence and not take it personal.

Hes handling it right.

Agreed. That is why she pulled the grandma crap right out of the gate. Attacking “grandma” is taboo for many, even if grandma is Satan in a red pantsuit.

It’s agenda driven. This came out last night and of course the exact polls they publish are all the states that Trump was ahead in last week. This was predictable.

I agree.. he needs to avoid taking that bait. He was pretty much in command during the first half of Monday’s debate, but better preparation for the next one will be a big help. Winging it only carries him so far.

And next time the debate subject again touches on Cyber security, Trump needs to jump on it with both feet and tear into Clinton’s complete disregard for COMSEC.

This PPP poll is by a Dem pollster for a Dem super-pac.
Obviously it’s purpose is to help them.

Most obvious sign of bias is that, when asked, respondents say they voted for Obama in 2012 by about 5% more than did in 2012.

“Why can’t Trump get personal?”
He has to walk the tight-rope of:
- telling the truth
- not alienating, or turning off the undecideds - especially women.
