I ask this question seriously. I get the tastelessness of this stunt, but to many of us, dissing the national anthem is tasteless and offensive. Why is some freedoms of expression better than other freedoms of expression?

Exactly and we already know, Black Lives Matter says some outrageous offensive things. They too, I heard in the BLM charter call Israel an "apartheid state". So, this is a bit of a thought crime.

Maybe the guy should NOT hand out bananas, that is a bit in your face but if one just goes to the protests, in this garb, with a banana on a rope and the mask, that should not be in excess. But again, a lot of what BLM does is "in your face" as well. I don't know if the University sanctioned 3 days of protests or what.

Freedom of speech is protected for protected classes of people. There is a double standard. If you’re white, you have no freedom of speech if someone of a protected, entitlement race deems it offensive.
