President Barack Obama expressed his disappointment on Wednesday with Congress, which voted overwhelmingly to overturn his presidential veto on a bill that would allow families of terrorist victims to sue foreign nations. The Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) will allow the families of 9/11 victims to seek restitution by suing Saudi Arabia, where the vast majority of the hijackers hailed from. It passed Congress unanimously, but Obama had expressed his intention to veto it, which he did on Friday. A mistake is an unintended action. This law was not a mistake. But it is a very bad idea. If a nation plays a part in commiting a terrorist act in this country then the remedy is war or something else done by our country against their country.
How long before the left claims England sponsors enviromental terrorism by supporting BP? How long will it take the leftist in the rest of the world to sue us? Who defines terrorism? Isreal will be the first country sued out of existence.

If a foreign nation is found liable in a U.S. civil court in a terrorist act and the U.S. government did not deal with said nation as a military/diplomatic/economic adversary, then what does that say about the complicity of the U.S. government in the domestic act of terrorism?

On another note, I remember reading a lengthy article years ago about how this guy, Feinberg(?)determined how much each 9/11 family deserved and received based on certain criteria.
They’ve already been compensated once from our country. But I guess people like to get as much money as they can. Human nature.
