Around 4,000 young Swedes, 18-year-olds of both sexes, are expected to be called up each year.
The move was "an intelligent proposal given that we have seen for a number of years now that volunteers are not sufficient to supply either the quality or quantity of soldiers" needed, Johan Osterberg, a researcher from the School for Advanced Defence Studies, told news agency TT.
Sweden is not a NATO member but has signed the body's Partnership for Peace programme launched in 1994 to develop military cooperation between NATO and non-member countries.

“Swedish leaders had previously agreed to permanently deploy soldiers on the strategically located island in the Baltic Sea beginning in late 2017, but early in the morning of Wednesday, September 14, about 150 soldiers from mechanized infantry forces taking part in military drills on the island today received the order not to leave the island.”

A country that can’t convince its young that the country is worth defending doesn’t deserve to survive. And by convince I don’t mean draft into involuntary servitude.

Sweden is like a gigantic Marin County. The typical Swede is like your typical resident of Berkeley or Ithaca; they would absolutely trust a muslim without reservation.

What better way for the Muslims to cement their gains? Volunteer and take over - or at least get some modern training fr later on.
