Can’t fly on most Asian-based airlines and use Bluetooth. It’s banned. So wireless is out.

Not to mention that the only Bluetooth CODEC that sounds decent is AptX HD, from CSR. Macs support that CODEC - but iOS does not.

So, lower quality sound, can’t use it on many air flights, and Yet Another Thing to charge. Hard to beat a physical jack! And considering there are thinner and waterproof phones out there with the jack, there’s really no reason not to have that jack.

Yes, I know there is an adapter - good of Apple to supply it. However, if you want to charge at the same time as listen - you’re out of luck...

I just hate the way cables always snag on things, get frayed, get all dirty, etc. The wireless sound quality will continue to improve.

Shucks, you'll just have to use the really nice Lightning earbuds they include with the phone. Or you could use the Lightning to 1/8" stereo adapter they include with the phone.

Or you could just shut your pie hole and stop spreading misinformation about a product you will never use.
